I'm looking to put together a series of 24 Game Blocks in the $52 Double or Nothing SNGs. This is a good low risk investment since DoN's are the lowest variance games around.

As stated I'm looking to start a series of blocks, I'd like to make the first block as profitable as possible for my 1st group of backers in order to establish a good relationship.

So here is the package:

24 x $52 DoNs = $1,248
Looking to sell 40% = $499.20
20% = $249.60
10% = $124.80
5% = $62.40

Bonus: In the event that I don't show a profit greater than 2 buy ins at the end of the 1st block or am down 4 Buy Ins or less I will give all a free 2nd block.

Whats the catch? I know I don't have a large sample size at this level. And that is the only catch. I do however have a large sample of 14k games in double or nothings.

Credibility? I was a huge contributor in the big don thread that is now locked and have several don/2p2 ppl as references. I have been on one stake with one of the biggest stakers for sng's and completed stake with a decent profit and no make up. If you'r interested in talking to him you can pm me for his info and additional ref's if needed.

Why? I was feeling burnt out from the game and was running bad so obv not playing anywhere near my A game. Since then I started playing reg sngs and mtts on ftp and a few on stars. Even tried some cash. Did this for a couple of weeks and now feel refreshed. After playing a few dons this weekend I feel great and would like to do well at this level.

I was wondering the same thing. I wouldn't mind doing 2.5% each with you if you were interested.

Yea I was wanting 2.5% so if he was willing to do that it would be awesome. Going to bed now and will check in the morning. If he says ok, I'll ship the 2.5%.

i don't mind at all taking the 2.5% as long as we can get a total of 40% bought up.

My reputation here at 2+2 isn't exactly amazing, but I can vouch for alexstat that he is very capable of beating double or nothing sit and goes, and is respectable. I've known him for about 18 months now, and talk DON strategy and go over hands with him on a semi-regular basis.

edit: and just to clarify i understand your bonus that way, that if you make a loss more then 4 buyins you will do another block of 24 games where we are freeroling so don't have to pay for it and get a share of the profit like the % we invest in your first block?

So from my understanding, if I was to invest $124.80 for 10%, and you lose say 2 buyins ($104 loss). In your second package, you are up 3 buyins ($156), would I be getting back 10% of the $156 or 10% of the net ($156-104)?

I have played about 30k DONs and can vouch for Alex's knowledge of proper play. I've discussed strategy with him and over-regged a few of his sets on occasions so I know his game firsthand.

also the bolded is a misunderstanding. If I am down 4 buy ins or less not more. So say i'm down 3 buy ins, you get a free 2nd block. If I'm down 5 buy ins there is no 2nd free block.

Great question. TY. The highlighted is correct. I'm paying out a net of the two blocks in the case of a bonus 2nd block. I'm doing this because I'd hate to lose anyone money and I do understand that there is variance in poker. However I do believe strongly that I'm running good and should show at the minimum a 3-4 buy in profit.

ok, so only if you are making a small loss we get a chance to get the loss back, if you are running really terrible the money is lost.

i took 20% because at that time, that added up to 40% total

I think we have exactly 40% now. will double check but willing to go as far as 50% but after that we can start on reservations for another block.
