Hotter 44 Not Part Of Package: Payouts Were Wrong


It has come to my attention that in the sunday packageI posted for 1/27/2013, in which you invested x% in, the final tournament I played and cashed for 14.7k in, was not part of the package.

Below are the turbos listed as a part of the package, and the tournaments you bought pieces of:

25$ Hyper 15k (415pm EST)
27$ TKO's (5 of these = 135$)

5r 2x turbo 20k (15bullets = 65.5$, 830am EST)

8r 2x turbo (15 bullets = $120.8)

As you can see in the above list, the tournament "The Hotter 44" was not listed, and was not paid for by investors.

Thus I am in a quandry. Honestly I had assumed at the time that I had it listed, which is why I posted in the rail thread for it. However if I had bricked it, it wouldn't have counted against the package in any manner as no investor paid for their % of it.

It was an honest mistake to assume the tournament was included, however, as it never was, the payouts I sent out to investors were incorrect.
The proper payouts are as follows: 1637.84 + 73.58 + 445.74 = 2157.16

1% = 21.57 = I overpaid 147.31
5% = 107.85 = I overpaid 735.66
10% = 215.70 = I overpaid 1471.32

Because I mistakenly included the HOT 44 in the payout list, when it shouldn't have been, and given my backer's fairness regarding this issue (they were sure the tournament was 100% played under my regular stake), we are willing to offer a compensation to my investors by adding $4,000 to this package. Note: that this money will be 100% absorbed by my backers.

Note: We'd also greatly appreciate it if the full amount was paid back, we are leaving it to your discretion.


Thus payouts will be:
1% = 61.57 = You owe me 107.13 (You profited 13$)
5% = 307.85 = you owe me 535.66 (you profited 65$)
10% = 615.70 = you owe me 1071.32 (you profited 149$)

If you believe this is a fair compromise, or believe something else should be done, please let me know.

Sent back $1471.32 for my 10%. The offer above is very nice from u/ur backers but imo kind of taking it too far - an honest mistake was made (seems like your leak was being too excited to have done well for ur buyers, which cant be a bad trait) and I wouldn't feel right having u pay me $400 for making that mistake.

Hopefully this doesn't cause too much drama as on the one hand I could see why people would be upset (it sucks to think u won and realise u didnt), but on the other hand, obviously mistakes happen and its pretty clear from the original post that the hot 44 wasn't included.

I only recently started buying shares on a semi-regular basis, so I'm curious what other peoples thoughts are too. Anyway, sent back the full amount, and still reserve me 10% for next week

Only problem I have with this is that you write in bold that this is nearly every game u will play Sun (exceptions being TCOOPS and some stuff near the end of session, those are part of my TCOOP pkg.)

^ This statement is prob why u assumed it was for pkg and the way u wrote the schedule is more like sort of guideline for what u will play. Also seems strange u would include hotter 33 and hotter 55 but no hotter 44? It raises the question of this possibly being a mistake in what u wrote down but the intention was for it to be included. I'm certainly not 100% oppose to a compromise and please don't think I'm questioning your ethics or anything. Just wanted to make some points and then see what others have to say.

Right, it is a game that I normally might have in the package (I didn't have it in there the last 3 weeks though), but as I didn't added it to the package and never charged investors for it I can't see how investors in this package should have part of my action for something they never paid for.

Although If I had specifically stated that the package included all of my action on the day, then I would have obviously put the entire 14k score twords the package as i originally had.

But as i never listed it, never charged investors for it, and never stated the package was for all my action on the day, I believe that investors should pay back every penny of the full amount I sent from the 14.7k score.

However, as there was some confusion on the matter due to my making mistakes on it, my backer's and I are willing to front some of the score twords this package to appease investors if need be.

Just comes down to what you believe is fair or not.

milldollbaby, and jimmy are both sending me back the 1470 in full, I greatly appreciate this and both will have option to buy my next sunday package at no mark up.

sent back 735.66$ for my 5% ..... its an honest mistake and can happen to anyone... also paying extra 4k for it is maybe taking it too far imho ....

luckily he happens to have some very cool backers it seems who want to make sure the MP is taken care of.

Ryan if u look at last Sun 1/20 pkg u also didn't list the hotter 44 but then in the rail it is clearly listed on post 45 as one of the remaining tourneys.

ya, i did the same mistake last week as well. never noticed that it wasn't part of the package, when i thought it was. So if i cashed in it last week, i should technically try to seek funds from investors for it then as well.

this sucks for ya sir, hope everyone does decent thing and ships back
