This is a common scam in the money exchange threads seems they are getting inventive and finding new ways to scam other users. If you search the OPs posts you will find this post from 7 years ago which will have been the original account user notice the different pokerstars username.

The account is then dormant for 6 years during which time the hacker has taken control of the account. Best defence against these people is look at their last few pages of posting history and if there is a huge gap like here its a hacked account.

Yes, I noticed this after looking up users posting history.

However, I'm not so sure it's a hacker as opposed to the original user himself or a friend.

The user is German, has similar post history, playing history, and characteristics to that of the person using the account back in 2013(having had dealt with him on skype).

Now, either he's the world's best con artist or it's the same guy. If indeed it's a con artist, surely he wouldn't intentionally had used a different name in taking on the roll of another "Chris/Christian"?

So, I think he used a different name to separate himself from his old posts hoping people wouldn't dig.

Oh well, I feel sorry for the guilt he will have to suffer.
