I was thinking of making my own thread for this, but will post it here first.
Might make a thread for this later on within the selling shares online subforum.

Hi,

I'm looking for about 2-3 persons to form a staking group with.

Who am I?
22 year old semi serious micro grinder with fulltime job.
Have some experience in the marketplace (about 5k+ in dollars in transfers), and haven't had any negative feedback so far. Always quick to reply and open minded.
I've done some active staking around beginning to mid 2012. Didn't do too well, and decided to stop for a while.

What am I trying to accomplish?

I'm trying to get a small 4 max. group together who actively stakes as one.
You can see it as a stable, but for staking in marketplace purposes only (untill future opportunities present themselves).
I believe this could be beneficial for everyone involved due to:
- Lower risk, due to having part of a bigger bankroll.
- Get more then 1 point of view when trying to value a package/person/investment in general
- Always be able to get the best value packages due to multiple people looking out for the best packages available
- Share experiences in dealing with specific people in the marketplace
- Enhance your network

Who am I looking for?

I'm looking for people with the following qualities & experiences to start a group with.

- Team player. I'm looking for people who are easy to deal with within a group. We're doing business here, and cooperation is a necessaty rather than a preference.
That being said, every member of this group will have the same rights.
- Experience. In order to apply, I need you to not be a complete noob at this. Anyone under 500 posts, no transactions and no references will not be considered.
- Dedicated. I want active people who don't mind spending 30 minutes every other day on this. Trust me, there's enough work to be done, and I'll explain more to those interested.
- Trustworthy. Not much to say about this. But I need people to be open in order to get the cooperation that I desire.
- Innovative. This will mostly be a trial and error process. Meaning I need people who can think with me and think in solutions instead of problems.

How will this work?

As I stated above, this will be a trial and error process. Comments, tips & feedback are higly appreciated.
Everyone involved will have the same ownership rights so everyone is as important as the other.

An example of how I envisioned this.

Note: All numbers are fictional and for example purposes only. Actual numbers will be discussed with the persons involved.

Person, 1, 2, 3 & 4 each own 25% of a $1000 bankroll.

If person 1 sees a package he thinks has some good value to it, he'll have the right to invest 5% of the total bankroll.
If person 1 believes that more should be invested, he can consult the other members of the group. Each having the right to increase the invested amount with 5% of the total bankroll.
All communcation regarding investments will take place in a (skype) groupchat with all members involved.
This will insure an open line of communication, and everyone involved will be able to see everything discussed in case they were not present at the time.

Simple yet necessary guidelines will be created for staking purposes.
This will include but not be limited to:

- Bankroll management rules
- Post all results in a spreadsheet shared by the group for analysis purposes
- Group should be meeting at least once a week for feedback or discussing future oppertunities within the marketplace.

When (if) this starts, I think it's a good idea to have a trial period of one month.
After the month the group will come together (online lol) to discuss:

- Changes to initial agreements
- Members who want to quit or join
- Increasing/decreasing initial bankroll
- Sort out payouts terms and percentages

Contact

If you're interested please PM me the following details:

- Name
- Short staking related biography
- Skype
- Email
- Staking bankroll
- Thoughts on my idea (feedback, tips etc.)

I'll respond to your PM asap.

What would be a fair markup for me to charge for a couple scoop low and a few scoop medium events?

I think it depends, your particularly strong in the $11-20 BI range. But above that, not so good. You could argue SCOOP will be more soft with more players sattying through.

I'd guess potentially 7-15%. Again, just my two cents.

Hey there!
I want to sell a share for the first time in my life, and I have no idea how much MU I should take.

I want to sell around 30-40% of the Scoop 23-H event:
1k turbo 6max rebuy tournament.

I'm a plo 6max mid/highstakes reg on stars. I have a 900k database of the last 2 years, winning at around 6bb/100. Nearly all hands are from plo600-5k. Some are higher and there is also some 2/4 in it.
I hardly table select, so it shouldn't be a big problem if the tournament has a tough field.

I have also played around 1500 MTTs and I'm a bit ahead, but it shouldn't matter that much.

I think some of you guys might know my screen name, so you can maybe get a better view of my edge(SN: volanthn).

Can you guys tell me what MU I can take round about on this event.
I'm also maybe interested in selling some pieces in the 5k 6max plo, so it would be great to give me a hint on this one too.

I hope I'm in the right thread.
Thanks guys

probably not that high. 1.10 maybe. Look at the MP and see what others are selling for and list competitively.

If they responded to your emails (your PMs will likely be activated soon) you must check your own email inbox.

Hi
I reg sell packages in the marketplace and am thinking of selling my scoop 1k main seperate.

Couple reasons a) I am likely to sell around 70% versus norm 50% I sell in packs
b) I am prob going to charge 0 or 5% mark up

Does it make sense to sell seperate or would just including it in that sundays pack be the standard?

Separate
Why would you wanna sell more % of other MTTs

Also small investors will find it tough to invest in you with re avg BI shooting up

I would like to know if I am able to participate in buying in the online shares subforum, being a new member. I understand I can't create threads in the market place or trade p2p so Im not sure if I can buy shares from player packages. Thanks

hi all quick couple Questions peeps. and i apologize in advance for bad spelling and gramer.

lets say if i was selling action to a tourney pack and i was selling 70% of my self i obv put the 30%?
And is that y you charge MU to cover most of the 30%?.
Im new to staking but bought quit a bit of action, but when a friend stakes me in a few games i just give him 50% of what i win is that like me selling 50% of my self at a massive MU, and whats the MU work out 2 be in that sum?
