To save you a bit more time, use this formula inside the P/L column:

=IF(A1 > 2,-7,IF(A1 =2,7.09,IF(A1 =1,19.17,IFNA(A1,0))))

Just replace A1 for the correct placement column cell and drag it down the usual way to copy it for the others.

It'll check the placement number and set P/L equal to the correct value without having to manually input it each time, if the cell is empty (to be played) it will show nothing.

I feel like I should mention that when you click a cell, a little square icon appears in the bottom right which you can click and drag down to copy the formula and it automatically figures out the correct cells to use based on the previous formula. e.g it knows that A1+B1 would become A2+B2 on the next cell down

Maybe change it to =SUM(A1+B1) and try again? it's possible that it doesn't do it without having the =SUM() part.

I think i may split 10 of the 30's into 20 15's and play the 10 30's mixed in with the 15's just to reduce a variance a little

I would do that to 15s running smooth i see .

Without editing rights I can't be 100% sure it'll work, but I believe:
=SUM(((E93 - B1) * 0.8) * (H4/100))

Should do it, with H4 changing for each person.

((ending balance - starting balance) * 0.8) = 80% of total profit
H4/100 = take percentage and shift 2 decimal places for percentage multiple

e.g if profit is 100 and the person has 10% of it:
$100 * 0.8 = $80
10%/100 = 0.1
$80 * 0.1 = $8

Thats the PROFIT they receive btw, so to get the total including their initial investment just :
=SUM((((E93 - B1) * 0.8) * (H4/100)) + J4)

With H4 and J4 updating for each person

Manually calculated it, simulated it in excel and used an online percentage calculator and all 3 got $52.59 for donkey so the formula definitely works.
