Hi All! I'm new to this forum and I'm enjoying the posts and comments I've read so far. I've seen some of the staking deals so far and just want to ask 2 potentially simple questions.

1- When someone says $10 = 1% and no other information is posted, it means I will receive 1% of all gross winnings right? If they say 25% markup and $10 will equal 1% I still get 1% of all winnings, it just means that only $8 of my money is going towards buy ins and my other $2 is going to that players pocket?

2 - once the package is complete and paid out there are no further obligations for either parties to continue staking or anything else right? It's a 1 time deal?

Hey! I did a research on staking, but I still have some noob questions left.

1.) The online-selling stakes here almost never mention if they the deal is with SB or not. Do I understand it right, that a deal is with SB unless it is written otherwise?

2.) Is there a formula, with which you can transfer MU to Cut or vice versa ( e.g. MU 1,25 = 80/20 cut)?

3.) I see on some other sites some deals with very high MUs. When can you pay a big MU? lets say the MU is 1,4 and the player has a ROI on these MTTs of 60 and will play 15 MTTs. Would you invest? Regarding the calculation of OP you still should have about 20% ROI on this investment.

1) Deals on 2p2 are almost with a Markup system. You buy a share of the gross profits for a certain price. This does not involve stake back.

2) Only for single tournament buys. With multi-tournament packages it's more complex than a simple formula.

3) Yes but 60% ROI is rare these days. There are tons of really bad staking deals on the internet.
