A fair point, however average ROI is a much better indicator of my expected ROI because total ROI is highly influenced by how I've done in the largest tournaments I've played. I have only played 13 $10ks online and not cashed in any. If you take those out my avg ROI remains the same, but my total ROI goes from 10% to 12%.
Additionally, I've done poorly in the 920 $1k+ tournaments I've played. If I take those out my avg ROI only goes up 1.5% to 26.1%, but my total ROI goes up nearly double to 18.5%.
My win rate at sub $1k buy ins on Stars is 4.65 bb/100 and for $1k+ it is 2.55 bb/100. There are tons of satellite winners in this tournament and the structure is super slow (4 day event). I've been doing pretty much nothing since March but studying solvers and playing poker and am up $150k since then. Thus, I believe my expected ROI in this event is between 10% and 20% and I'm confident that my investors are making money at this markup. With that being said, I'm willing to adjust my markup downward if it is not selling (as I've already done once).
