Hi everybody,

I'm a newby in the forum, even if i registered in 2011 I did use this forum only as information source, not participating. I'm a 22 years old PhD Student from Germany, playing under the screenname TithayerPS in lowstake games, with some results in PLO and Mixed Games (Micromillions 8-Game, some 11-20$ PLO/PLO8). Am more of the rec player, with periods where i have more time to play and sometimes a month where i don't play at all.
With the WCOOP arriving, i would love to play one or two events, with focus on PLO SPKO 6-max and 8-game (events 27/215$ and 37/320$), but i can not finance these tournaments completely by my own.
That's why i wanted to ask for some advice for being staked on 2+2:
Is it realistic for a forumnewby/rec/lowstake player to get staked for higher stakes?
What modalities (MU, ...) would be appropriated?
What percentage of these touneys can i expect to get by 2+2 stakers?

Thank you for answers

Tithayer

I'm also planning to a kind of regular saturday tournament package, with all the daily and weekly tournaments in following variants:
Razz, 8-Game, Limit Hold'em, Limit 2-7, Stud Hi/Lo, HORSE and LO8 for a total of 435$.
Same questions as previously for this type of package.

Hello Guys, I just won Golden Ticket in PokerStars promotion. For those who don't know what I am talking about, I enclose a link :

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/po...illion!_92998/

You can find this Golden Ticket Allin Shootout in PokerStars lobby. Go to tournaments and write „shootout“ into searchbox.
It starts on 27th september at 19:47 CET. It's HU allin shootout with first price of 1 million $. There are only 44 players registered and cap is 47 players.
My nickname on Pokerstars is HeiZeBurGlar.
I am willing to sell totally 50% of possible winnings.

There are 44 players including me, so my value in tournament is exactly 22 727,27$ .( 1 000 000$/44) 1% has EV 227,27$. But I am going to calculate EV with 47 players. (1 000 000$/47) If there were registered 47 players(cap) my value in tournament would be 21 276,60$.

1% has EV 212,77$ I am selling 1% for 205$. Totally up to 50% . In case of winning, every 1% gets return 10 000$.
If you are instrested in, comment bellow how many % are you buying. Send money to my PS account (HeiZeburGlar), I have picture of Heisenberg with burglair cap.
If you don't feel safe, but you are up to buying some percentages. We can solve it somehow, satisfactory for both sides.

Yes, it's allowed. Not every buyer will like it, though.

Hi guys, i am new on 2+2 community, but i have been active on other stacking website.
I wish i can sell shares here , when it will be possible regarding rules of 2+2 forum.

I wanted to ask you guys if you think i can hope to be stacked on.fr rooms on MTT between €20 & €100. I just have a 14.4% ROI on 11.6K tournaments with an average BI €5.98.

i guess that my Mark -up have to be 0 ? or near 0 ?

i have some nice wins on.fr but maybe it's not enough to be stacked ?

i hope i can sell btw 70 and 50% with no MU or really low if that's possible.

thanx for your help.

hi. I havent been able to find the answer to this question in the stickies:
i'm in pennsylvania. it's not legal for me to play online. pre-bfriday I used to buy a lot of action. I want to do that again.

can I create an account on 888, deposit money, and buy action through transfers? or must I be in NJ to do this?

But there's more to it than the kombiah community stuff. As a buyer of pieces of people, it's in my best interest to make sure people arent overcharging for pieces, even if I dont want a piece of them. Staking/shares is a market economy and once people start getting away with charging too much markup, it becomes the industry standard and then its taking money out of my pocket.

The rare times I have spoken up have been at the very beginning of the threads. I saw a thread that might have lead to this one where someone had already sold half of themselves and then someone came in saying he was charging too much MU. I myself dont think I'd do that, but again this is a public forum and people should be allowed to express any opinions they have. The mods are here to decide if anyone crosses the line.

I just want to be clear that even though I made the analogy, I in no way think that people that (intentionally or unintentionally) overcharge MU are even close to people that outright scam xfers and similar.
But it is really a good community.

Hello,

I'm at a confusing stage of a staking dispute, and I didn't know where else I can ask for help about it.

Situation is as follows, me and a friend of mine agreed I'd stake him to play on PS, transfered him the money, coached him for a couple hours but within 2-3 days he lost the initial deposit I made, then he told me he's done with poker and he'd pay me back when he gets the money.

After over a month I asked him when he's able to pay me back and he still has no idea which is still fine by me, the thing we started arguing about is how much he should pay me back.

I told him I expect to be paid back the full amount he lost in return he told me he he doesn't want to pay me back the whole amount and is saying that in all staking deals nobody has to ever to pay back full make up (?). His reasoning is because apparently I'm risking my money to win a share of his winnings...

He's the first person I've ever staked so I really don't know what to do. I mean, I'm fairly certain even if he quits poker and wants to pay me back then he's supposed to pay me back the full amount of make up, right?

Can someone please clarify this to me, I know the guy in real life and I didn't give him to sign any contracts cause it was all based on pure trust and want to help him out make some money.

Thanks in advance!

If he is quiting poker for good he owes you nothing unless you have agreement that says otherwise,Being you are asking this question it seems you dont.Makeup is usally worth 25% to 35% If he wanted to be a decent guy and give you something for makeing an agreement and quiting.

Hey guys,
As I am brand new to staking I was wondering if someone could answer some questions for me. If there's an expert out there who's willing to take a minute and look at my OPR numbers for the last 5 years please PM me. I'm just wondering if my numbers are good enough to get staked live or if I'm just wasting my time. Thanks in advance!

When buying or selling shares, how is rakeback/bonuses treated by default? There's lots of short offers to sell "x% of action at 1.0y markup", so I expect that rakeback isn't mentioned because by default there's a standard way to deal with it. If rakeback is included in the payouts, how are situations handled where the rakeback percentage is dependent on further volume, such as Stars VIP steps.

Apologies if this is very basic, quick search did not make it clear for me.

There is no expectation of bonuses going toward any sales. You are buying results only.

I am looking to get staked but don't know the proper way of doing it. Like taxes, buy ins, transportation costs etc. . I have a pretty good resume and have only been playing since 2014. What's the best way to do this?

transportation? Are we talking live tournaments? You pay for your own transportation in almost all deals I've heard of.

Taxes depends on your country, and where the tournament is being played.

Provide a bit more information.
