Could I do this at 1:1 or what would people suggest?
I'd suggest putting it up at 0 mark up. See what kind of response you get, maybe you'll have a couple of people requesting reserved shares of your next package. Make a decent rail thread and pay out quickly so people know you can run a package well and you'll have a better chance of having repeat customers.

After a package or two maybe you can start asking for a fair mark up. Without good stats (or some kind of big reputation on 2+2) I wouldn't ask for a big mark up though. There's a lot of people selling at too high a price and get away with it (and I don't think they realise it) imo, I'd prefer making a fair deal for all parties.

Good luck

I made the thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/16...arkup-1064892/

Any opinions? I should have said that the 11r score was shown as 5th or something because we did a deal, then I busted. With the true winnings my ROI would be better and profit positive by a chunk. Thoughts on it please?

Jesus christ what's with all these people trying to sell online tournaments at 1.3?

So tilting to try and buy packages, then find that idiots want to sell 70% at 1.3 markup to freeroll 4k packages each day. I haven't even sold any live tournament that high, ever, and i'm a 99.9x OPR guy. The markup here is just ridiculous

General rule - if you're profitable and selling at under 1.15, i'm interested. I don't care if you're Phil Ivey, i'm not buying your upper midstakes MTTs at 1.3.

This is just SO true

A lot of regs I crush pretty hard daily are selling at 1.2+ and i'm not even that good.

If people would stop buying them at ******ed markup, then they wouldn't get to freeroll every day, and would be forced to actually sell reasonable packages.

I won't name names but you guys know who you are. Sure, if people are willing to buy at markup whatever. I mean i've sold at 1.2 for live events. But the only person benefiting from the 1.3 online packages is the person who is selling them.

I'm juggling around some calculations that I run in an excel chart for buying stakes. Have decided to stop buying at 1.29 MU that some are selling at. I can think of only one actively selling player worth that markup in tough fields and that's simply because of the heater he's on currently.

I'm sure that the 1.29'ers are going to sell out their packages anyways, and after all, this is a market economy. You can sell a package at 50% MU if you feel like it, it only concerns you and the buyer.

Don't think you can sell in here.. Do you have marketplace approval? if not you need to go my 2+2 > group memberships and apply.

If you're already approved then just start a new thread in this section w the details of the package you wanna play, also i'd suggest including your beasty SS graph below as it will encourage investment.

toca i'm kind of in the same spot, my advice would be to start with something basic like a few sunday majors + daily bigs, if you're a good player with solid results over a decent amount of games people will likely take a chance..

Hi!

My sn is archenemy85. Im currently leading the 6max sngs up to 35$ on sharkscope. I have planned to set up a staking thread for the wcoop, unfortunately I’m not a member on 2p2 for 6 full months yet.

However, I’d like to get some experience with setting up stakes. So here we go:

Im looking forward to sell 30% @ 1.1 for those tourneys:

All today, Sunday 4th
WCOOP01 2nd chance 109$ 6max 19 CET
The Bigger $109 19 CET
WCOOP03 215$ 20 CET
The Bigger 55$ 21 CET

1% = 5,36$

PM me if you are interested/have any questions.

Hey guys,

There is an active 2+2 member that is a known scammer (on another well known site).
Not sure that he is asking for a stake on 2+2 atm but he is posting.

Is there a black list here or should I contact 2+2 to get him banned from this place/all poker forums?

ofc I can back up my claims with link to thread, name etc...

Cheers

Hi guys,

My name is Jeremy Meham and I am writing because I am trying to find a backer for tournaments.

I am an experienced online tournament grinder, who like other tourny grinders literally got completely ****ed by the government with the disbanding of online poker. I have been grinding live cash games since then, but my bread and butter is really tournament poker. I spent a long time playing lower buy-ins, but came to a realization after talking to a couple foxwoods pros that many many players are backed and I feel like I could be extremely successful with a backer in tournament poker.

Just for people to have an idea, I played tournament poker literally every single day from early October 2010 until black friday (I am a truly dedicated grinder and take the game seriously) I had two of my best days in online poker the two days before black friday winning the $11 rebuy 55k gtd for $6800 and taking second in the 109$ 2x chance tourny for $4100. I was really starting to crush online right prior to black friday and had made 7 final tables in between April 10th - April 15th 2011, thanks to a newfound love for table ninja and a little kush (lol).

Anyways, I am really just looking for an oppurtunity and if there is anyone interested in exploring this. Please let me know.....Here are my stats on OPR, I have a 47% ROI and hopefully I get some interested responders. Thanks guys.

P.S....I ultimately would like to move out of the country to play...but dont currently have enough money to go...as summer cash game didnt go so great...but again I think I could be a great horse for someone and just need the opportunity...ill let my volume and stats speak for themselves. thanks again.

http://officialpokerrankings.com/pok...E.html?t=2&rc=

PM me if you have anything to say or any advice for getting back into this...without the means to move out of the country.

Jeremy

I have a question and would appreciate any help. I'm a full time staker and from time to time I have a horse or horses where I have 100% of their action but want to sell some off. If I want to start a thread selling some of their action can I do that? For example say I have someone who I want to sell 50% of their MTT action for this Wednesday can I start a thread selling it?

All monies would come to me and so would payouts. I would keep a rail of the event, but the horse or horses involved in the package would post results/hands. SO what do you think I can't find anything in the rules that says I can or can not do it. Like I said I would appreciate any guidance Thanks

Hi, I'm new here and wish to start staking.
Are there any rules in regards to limits on how much/ how often new menbers can stake?

Also, People are talking about PMing yet I can only 'email' members of the forum, is this the same thing?
Also, if I ship the stake through pokerstars, will I receive my share of the winnings back through pokerstars?

Sorry for the possibly stupid questions :P

~Chris

EDIT:
Also, it won't let me 'Email' some people and i'm incredibly confused. I want to sort this out before actually staking anyone.

Hey guys, not received any staking ever in the past, but recently got a 50% stake for this sunday's $10m gtd on pokerstars. I advertised it via twitter and 2 long time reputable 2p2ers took 25% of me each and have transferred. Where (if anywhere), am I allowed to record the booking on 2p2 for their peace of mind?

Thanks for any advice.

What happens if the seller loses internet connection/electricity? Does he have to pay back the buyers or is it considered as force majeure?

From a mail from pokerstars, regarding the change from pokerstars.com to pokerstars.dk
Quote:
SPILLEROVERFØRSLER
Bemærk, at overførsler mellem spillere ikke er muligt i den nye .DK-software. Det er ikke tilladt ifølge dansk spillelovgivning
Loose translation: PLAYERTRANSFERS - Notice that transfers between players are not allowed in the new .dk-software. It's illegal according to Danish gaming laws.

Whaaat - so now I can't stake no more? Is there a way around this or do I have to rely on paypal and such?

You could also move out of Denmark.

Why the rake is included in the MU?

Ej, ST 1050*1.1

makes more sense, 1000*1.1 + 50.

or i am missing something?
