Wondering what people think an Accurate MU would be for the 2.1k 2-day for a solid HSMTT player

Is this is enough? I'm only looking for like $150 worth of stake anyway. Anyone care to advise?

edit: just realised how to apply for marketplace approval, other Qs still apply though.
If you are selling only a small amount of action you should be fine with minimal references. Link to instances where you proved yourself etc. I would suggest having a few friends post in the thread saying they talk with you regularly etc. Make sure they don't say they "vouch" for you, unless they have means of covering any amount you potentially could steal.

Take a look at other people's threads that are similar to what you want to setup so you have a better idea of what to include. You have to start somewhere so build up your references however you can and good luck.

question is way to vague to answer correctly.

Preface- This conversation has 0 to do with anyone's ability to play in this tournament, as they are all seasoned HSMTT players and should be fairly +ev... This is much more to do with me trying to get help in gauging what these players (and others who will probably post) true expectation is in this tournament when it is offered as a single and has no other buffer tournaments available..

So let's just take our examples we have so far this week..

Dana Gordon
AK87
Mr. P

They are all @ 14%... Is it profitable at this price for any of them? Or is it closer to breakeven??

My guess is that it is probably slightly profitable at best... But could be way wrong..

Thoughts..??

I'd have thought it was closer to breakeven than that, just imo

Im looking for advice here...My numbers overall sucks, but i start to play again on FTP recently as i feel a lot more confortable playing here, also since last month cuz i have been receiving coaching over FTP, and have show profit so far at the $0-$10 buy ins 181+ field in the past 120 days. Of course not a huge sample size cuz i havent got the proper roll to grind, so i friend sujested to open a BAP for $200-$300 to play <$5 freezouts MTTs on Tilt (including both early daily doubles) and setting the length of the stake for 10-15 days.
I have been staked three times by 2+2ers (lilman2636, Avaholic and Brad2002tj), if i commit to buy 20$ of my action...Would it be viable for to open a BAP for around $250 to grind <$5 freezout MTTs?
Here is a link to OPR distribute detail for buy ins between $0-$10 for 181+ field for the past 120 days.

Let me know what u think...Thanks.

Alright. I'm a small winner and thinking about selling shares to my typical $11-55 MTTs this sunday.

10% ROI @ 25 ABI over 2654, 15% ITM

http://www.officialpokerrankings.com...58DAF.html?t=2

Although I have been a 97-98 percentile ranked player and I am confident in my play, I recently had a bad downswing and took 3 months off to focus on school+work/reset my mind.
I have no references, so I was thinking of selling shares to a FTP exclusive package of about $500 total buyins spread across just full tilt w/ MTTSNGs and $11-$55 MTTs this Sunday. If I sell with no markup, do you think people will invest?

My stars sn is DFAHerby78 and I'm a loser over a small sample and stars acts up on my laptop, so i don't play on it often, except occasional Sunday millions etc...

http://www.officialpokerrankings.com...7D55F.html?t=2

OPR obviously does not show my live results either, which I'm up about $2000, most of it from a 3 handed chop at a caesars 10 pm tourney during the WSOP. (I did not play any WSOP events, just side events)

Considering I won't be selling action to any tournaments that I haven't already final tabled and those very similar I am confident I would be a good investment and really think I'm due for a nice score, but do others think so? Please be honest. Thanks.

Ps sorry for the messed up spacing, typed this up on my iPhone...

I'm having trouble selling my first attempt at a bap which is for the stars million and the ftp 750k.. I think its a combination of not having references, only being for 2 mtts, way above my avg buyin (although these tournaments are really soft for their buyin), and because my stats aren't outstanding. Another problem I have is I am backed for up to $55 freezeouts and $22 rebuys so I cant include a lot of smaller mtts, and I don't want to include too many tournaments of higher stakes or it would never sell because of the amount. My only other thought is try selling one for $75 buy-ins (with bigger non-reg infested fields) and maybe the $162 NHG on stars. Also wondering if doing money swaps would be good for building my rep in this forum. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

Would be nice to add *SOLD OUT* or *CLOSED* to bap thread titles like in the cash subforum. This way everyone can stop wasting time reading baps that aren't available anymore.

I'm unable to make a new thread in the "selling online shares" section. Wanted to maybe do a 1 day MTT package . I don't have many posts here so maybe it's because of that ? FWIW I have shipped over $50k in profits to stakers on surferspoker which is a small staking site and could easily get references and stuff from a few ppl I know on here too. So yeh Idk the requirements regarding access ? I joined 2 years ago so it's not that

If everyone reported threads that are sold out, using the image then it would at least mean that others will save time. If enough people do it, it should make browsing the forums faster for all in the long run.

So is it irrelevant if he turns a profit?

Anyone knows if there is a place for investors to discuss markup on various packages?
Is this thread the only place for that?

**References**

Op's when selling a package should post references like this

Reference-(sn of reference and state the nature of business use two shared)
and have the reference post up that your business is good business

I see alot of op selling packages that are mis-using the term reference etc..

Im requesting Mod's look into making it a rule in the forum to post up references-stating nature of business and having the references state the nature of their previous dealings...

Thoughts?

I don't think requiring a 3rd party to do leg work is a feasible option for an online forum. Just consider that if you go out of your way to check with a 3rd party and they give a positive reference that it probably means something.

Hello I have recently started using the marketplace for buying shares in tournament packages and have also requested to be approved for selling shares, aka marketplaced approved. When reading the rules I saw that you need a account "in good standing". Now I have a coupple infractions for posting some bs in nvg, will that affect my application?

Hey,

My friend MrP0P (http://pokerprolabs.com/MrP0P/PokerStars.aspx) wants to sell 50% of himself in the Super Tuesdays. Given that he has not been registered for 60+ days, what is the best way for him to go about doing this?

Thanks.
