How does the whole approval thing go? Will I get a pm with the answer either way? I'm not sure how I know if I was declined / accepted?

No, no PM.

You will either have "marketplace approved" display under usergroups when you look at your own profile or you will have the ability to apply again. If you can apply again (you were denied)

Hi, I am not a frequent user here at 2+2 and when I last logged I was checking around the MP for some BAPs.

Today I come on to browse some packages and my msg box is no longer showing. IIRC I cannot purchase without having access to my msgs.

Just curious why I no longer have the ability to message others.

Please check out my application. I have done Several buys and im sure close to Anyone Will Go as ref for me. Its been taking two week or longer and This just because i recently been active ? Ive always used twoplustwo But earlier for reading because i couldnt afford investing.

Tried to gift a copy of the Chinese Open Face Poker App on iOS to a friend in Belgium but it couldn't process because it would only work in the Dutch iTunes store.

Since I now have an extra 'copy' laying around, id like to sell it here with a small discount.

I just wanted to double check if selling this would be allowed in the MP

- Software licenses"

Dunno if an iOS app as a gift would classify as a Software License.

Serious question:

Which moderators should one contact to get the status of their Marketplace application?

I get asked from time to time from established and well-known players to get them Marketplace approval. However, that's not what my role here on 2+2, nor do I want that responsibility.

I had someone contact me today, who has made a second inquiry into their Marketplace status, and has not gotten a response.

I don't know if the person or persons involved are unaware of the application or just taking their time in responding, but a yes/no decision should not take that long?

If he/she doesn't get a response from a marketplace mod and it's been over a week, they should try another mod. PMs that contain relevant information that help fact check are always helpful. For example, links to previous trades, poker site sns, OPRs etc. Also helpful is to leave a message with their application as to the reason they are applying. Leaving that field blank, or writing "I WANT TO START THREADS" doesn't help.

I messaged d.s for marketplace approval because thats who i have been talking with about getting my market place back. But he has not been on in about 3 weeks.

My horse francispoker chopped the million and wanted to pick up a few more horses and possibly run packages again. All my packages are clean and all investors were happy. There was 1 investor that was confused on when I would be shipping the profits. I ran a package with 2 circuit stops so it took a month and he didnt invest in the second stop.
