I don't know much about his tournament game other than what you can read above, but he's a damn good limit holdem player.

Since I'm not exactly a well known 2+2 poster (mostly an NVGtard) maybe I should give references/brags too. I'm Quaternion on pretty much every site, and I'll play anybody (except Hoss) at limit holdem. Feel free to check tableratings or any of the "Top n players" threads in the High Stakes Limit Holdem forum.

I'm taking 7 shares, and may well decide to take another 6 before we get rolling.
This constitutes a 'vouch,' which means HIV's debt is your debt. I find it odd that I'm the first to post this.

Well obviously I don't expect anyone to make fitz pay the debt. I'm just surprised it didn't get mentioned, and I do think he owes something.

Wow, you really think that? If I said "I vouch for debt, and his debt is my debt" then you'd be right, but if I say "I trust him" it means exactly that. I (did) trust him.

You're the first person to post it because *nobody* else thinks anything of the sort.

People gave him money based on your word. You don't think you owe something for that?

Re: Comprehensive WSOP package, selling shares at 1.25 (revised)

pretty clear fitz didnt vouch for him.

i think the whole "vouching" thing gets thrown around way to much on these boards, but you can tell from what fitz posted that he wasnt vouching for the debt if any occurred.

wtf of course he doesn't owe anything, he said he trusted him and he clearly wasn't lying given he bought a piece, nowhere did he say he would vouch for him

Re: Comprehensive WSOP package, selling shares at 1.25 (revised)

Even if he said "I vouch for him", that doesn't mean he'd owe any money.

I've heard some people say that they don't vouch because they don't want to be responsible for someone else's debts. I've never heard anyone say that they vouched for someone and therefore were responsible for someone else's debts. I think it's pretty safe to assume that nobody who's actually willing to vouch for anyone thinks that vouching for someone makes them liable. Anyone who thought that just wouldn't vouch for anyone unless they have too much money.

Re: Comprehensive WSOP package, selling shares at 1.25 (revised)

On the first reading I thought he said "vouch" which is why I had it in my head that he owed him. Then I sort of just stuck with it after seeing he didn't.

It's true that in non-gambling circles some people throw 'vouch' around casually, but everyone here knows what it means.

Re: Comprehensive WSOP package, selling shares at 1.25 (revised)

I actually DID think that Quaternion was gonna be liable for the whole entire amount at first, which was quite upsetting given his assistance in setting this whole thing up, and his willingness to always help me, in the past. Hence me saying I'd need his mailing address to send him checks periodically. However, I agree with the consensus that it shouldn't be all on him, although, interestingly enough, the first person I asked to vouch for me was Stealthmunk, who replied that he couldn't because if I "won the main event and rolled" he didn't have the millions to pay the investors. But it makes a lot more sense to spread it out because, as Quaternion said, all he did was say he trusted me and we had done successful trades many times in the past.

This is completely false and OPR will show I have not played poker since June 21st.

I am currently working on some small projects, including making a website for a Non Profit Organization.

Finally, someone is calling my house repeatedly and attempting to harass me. I'd like to say to that person, congrats on wasting your time. Please continue to waste your time, it doesn't intimidate me in any way and is funny and pathetic. It's your time, buddy.
