I've heard some people say that they don't vouch because they don't want to be responsible for someone else's debts. I've never heard anyone say that they vouched for someone and therefore were responsible for someone else's debts. I think it's pretty safe to assume that nobody who's actually willing to vouch for anyone thinks that vouching for someone makes them liable. Anyone who thought that just wouldn't vouch for anyone unless they have too much money.

On the first reading I thought he said "vouch" which is why I had it in my head that he owed him. Then I sort of just stuck with it after seeing he didn't.

It's true that in non-gambling circles some people throw 'vouch' around casually, but everyone here knows what it means.

I actually DID think that Quaternion was gonna be liable for the whole entire amount at first, which was quite upsetting given his assistance in setting this whole thing up, and his willingness to always help me, in the past. Hence me saying I'd need his mailing address to send him checks periodically. However, I agree with the consensus that it shouldn't be all on him, although, interestingly enough, the first person I asked to vouch for me was Stealthmunk, who replied that he couldn't because if I "won the main event and rolled" he didn't have the millions to pay the investors. But it makes a lot more sense to spread it out because, as Quaternion said, all he did was say he trusted me and we had done successful trades many times in the past.


This is completely false and OPR will show I have not played poker since June 21st.

i could be wrong, but i was just browsing this thread and thought this was really out of place

stumbled over this, and while his opr is blocked, ss says he indeed played every month including july and is still playing. in august he only played once, but in nov he already has 554 games.




reeeeeally a nice guy. looking forward to buy his action. really hope he wins just enough to pay u back (and does so).
