Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

Your ABI is $25 and you're charging 1.142 to a pretty tough $1K?

Marketplace is an open market and people should post when they see something they find very odd. Does OP have any experience in buy buyin events? Why do you think this markup is justified?

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

You didn't comment on his roi, just that his lifetime abi including sngs is $25. I don't think that's terribly relevant.
You didn't check to see if he had experience in high buyins?

I have no problem with calling someone out if they're out of line. But it seems like you're trying to discredit this package for no real reason.

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

I'm not trying to discredit it for no real reason...that's not my style. I saw on OPR that he's never played a $500+ buyin, I was wondering if maybe he played high buyins on another site, as he has no experience at these stakes that I see. His ROI is decent but for a $25 ABI it's nothing crazy. I don't see how this markup could be close to profitable for investors.

How is his ABI not relevant? He literally has no experience at this buyin level.

One of us has the wrong OPR page I guess?

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

That OPR legit looks different than the link in the OP. I have him at 33% ROI total, not 36%...and $25 ABI not $24. Weird. Anyway, it seems he has extremely little experience at $1K+ buyins. This is definitely a concern, along with his very low ABI and not amazing ROI. The Super Tuesday is a tough tournament and it's very hard to have a 20%+ ROI in it. I'm not saying OP is scamming or anything like that.

I just feel very strongly that this package is not close to good value and felt the need to post. I am an investor, and a marketplace regular. I never post stuff like this unless I feel very strongly. I'll cease posting and wish him and his investors good luck.

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

I got there by clicking the link in the OP, went to distributed details screenshotted and copy/pasted the link there so you could confirm it's the same page you were on.
Could you screenshot yours? I would like to see the OPR that says OP has never played a $500+

And you're quoting an ABI that has something like 10k 180s added in...

We should stop derailing the thread but it's pretty much killed now anyways.

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

No, I see that he's played around 4-5 1k+s but I have 33% ROI and $25 ABI while your screenshot says differently. I'm seriously done replying, I don't want to hijack this thread anymore than I did. I simply posted my concerns as a potential investor. Also it doesn't matter if 180s are in the equation. He plays the VAST majority of his volume at very low stakes and that's all I'm worried about.

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

is this really neccessary brandon? you're going to question somebody that is obviously qualified to play the tournament, because you personally havent heard of him or something?

sure his abi is low, but he is a good player. he was coached by amirsf, stayed with aprilsfool, romdom, amir, rundatgame, me, and more this summer... and he played much higher than $1k on average. so its safe to say he is well versed in poker as well as having ample experience.

to come here for the sole purpose of MP policing his thread, in an attempt to derail it is a low blow. I doubt mahtias' rep is anything but pristine, so what reasoning could you possibly have besides the tournaments he's played in his entire life add up to $24 online. I'm sure this a concern of yours, with that being said... dont buy a piece and move on.

this is a good investment, dont let brandon barnes try and tell you otherwise.

and to that complete donk: how about to get the f out of my thread you self loving, self proclaimed judge with what I can only assume is at best half knowledge about the game of poker?

I do neither accept nor tollerate people who je..rk off on trying to put hard working people down. I mean you see a thread which at that point had no posts yet so you feel you find a cool target that you can attack and uve seen others do it to other people and it worked right? I dont quite understand you come in here and make that post, for whom? You think others cant judge for themselves, you think they cant read? That is pretty arrogant towards other investors. If you dont wanna buy a piece whats the whole point of this?

My "current" roi in mtts is 45% on opr I have to assume ur not able to read urself too well. Even over those 7k games, this is not yet even a representative of what the true roi is you know mtts do have variance? And my high buy in sample is way smaller so thats complete variance noise you can go on certainly a 100k downswing in $200 mtts and above before making profit for sure. Nevertheless ive played enough of them and ive studied this game enough that I know im actually selling myself under value for 1.14 mu so lol at u and ur complete worthless army of posts. Now stop jerr.king off and go on with ur life cuz you chose the wrong person to try to put down.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

30.5% left. So likely not gonna play unless I sell at least 20% more

I invested because it's a profitable investment, your negative presence in the thread makes it significantly less likely to sell out, you cost everyone ITT money.

Re: Cashcid Linc - Super Tuesday

FWIW I think it's fine to call people out for charging markups that are too high, etc. If you're buying shares of people based on their OPR/HendonMob/whatever alone you're probably making a lot of mistakes. Whether or not this a profitable investment or not depends on a lot of factors, and it's not just related to OP's ability as a poker player. An investment that is profitable for one investor may not be profitable for another.

I would never invest in someone who responds to criticism the way OP did, though.
