Is it wrong that I think its pathetic when I see guys who joined 3 months ago with 4,000 posts? Or a guy who joined just over a year ago with 14K posts? I wonder how many of their posts actually had information relevant to the OP, or made it past a sentence or two.

I guess its cool if these guys are using the forum as an anti-tilt haven or are actually legitimate insightful poker players than its alright I guess. Just sayin...

I sometimes view strat threads, but Im a troll while Im at work all day long. Its fun and it kills time at work while Im slow or all caught up. Everyones situation is different, some use it for strat only, some of us others just like to have a little fun.

They're just being smart and backing up their HEM database by posting every hand they played.

I have 100 posts/month but most of these are in las vegas lifestyle, which is semi-pertinent. It's the guys with 4k+ posts (<1 year old) that are all nonsense in news/gossip or some other bs. If you create a thread and, in the lifespan of the thread, you end up with the majority of the posts; you're sad.

I wish there was a way to automatically know which people on here are legit. You can tell after a few posts and/or if you recognize their name (i.e. ansky, ike, viff, etc) but what about people like "nuisance" who has 6.5k posts but he misspells "there" with "their".

There should be a way to add notes to posters (like poker sites) so you remember things like that and immediately know to dismiss their posts.

Looking for new/semi-new 2+2'ers with an absurd amount of posts to give me logical explanations as to why they post that much in such a short period of time and/or why they don't have a life outside of poker.

I enjoy posting here and I have been spending more time here recently. Plus I like poker, a lot. I'm just trying to get some reasonable explanations or opinions.

They are usually posting in low content, high volume forums like NVG or BBV - or POG, where one can rack up thousands of posts just pretending not to be a werewolf.

Yep I'm enjoying seeing mine rise.

I'm not completely hating on anyone with a high count pretty much just those that are blasting out 10K+ in their first year because they have no life and want to look like a vet.

There are obviously some really intelligent players here that have a lot to offer to the community and I respect their high post counts... These guys are something you and I should aspire to be in this forum. Not these noobs who are posting to post and gain seniority through their post count.

Again just sayin.
