Many months ago, STTF, the SNG forum was plagued by a terrible troll. His name on 2p2 was chever10. STTF is a very well managed forum, and they don't put up with trolls, or have any kind of tolerance for them, so he was warned, infracted, and eventually permanently banned.

Now, a bit later, a new troll has popped up, but this time under a different alias, and in a different forum. His name is norwoodmatt1010. He has spent several months in the SSMTT forum, calling out players, posting their stats, being a huge troll, and giving some of the worst advice imaginable. He has received many warnings that I know of publicly from the management of SSMTT. Just SSMTT is more lenient than STTF I suppose.

After some ninja detective work, and some common sense, a 2p2er has found norwoodmatt's profile on PTP where his last name is listed as Cheverton. He also has alluded to things that point to him being Chever10.

I asked ssync to run an IP check but he doesn't know how, so I figured this would be the place for management to see this.

It is my understanding that after being permanently banned, it is against the rules to open another account. This was the precedent set with pageh656, who is a lot less annoying, and actually constructive with his posts, and added a lot to the community. Whereas norwoodmatt1010/chever10 have terrorized the tournaments forums with their trolling for over the last year. I feel this needs to stop, as will many others. I would like to see a precedent held here, all in the name of making the forums a better community for everyone.

he was permanbanned before, and has not learned his lesson. the same actions that got him banned continue. he is extremely disruptive to the flow of the whole mtt board.

The mod that banned Chever10 was one in STTF, and since he has moved to another forum with his current account. I can easily get the STTF mod to chime in here on the subject as chever10 is probably voted the worst troll of all time in that forum and is not forgotten easily.

Sorry if I'm not understanding the precedent right. Pageh656 was just a recent case in memory that I knew of. We don't get many trolls in the low stakes tournament forums, so I'm not sure how all the rules work in regards to how they are handled. Clarification on multiple accounts after being permanently banned would be cool as well.

He's already e-mailed me and told me we will do that challenge whether he is banned or not....so I don't care either way.

If this guy is an annoying multi time permabanned troll it's probably worth more money to 2+2 to NOT do an ad deal with him than it would be to do so. I'll let others elaborate.
