Your first run out, 8 ball or 9 ball? Your first run out, 8 ball or 9 ball?

I've played probably about an even amount of 8 and 9 (maybe a little more 8) but have had 2 run outs in 9 and have yet to run out in 8. I've had several racks that SHOULD have been run outs in 8 but I blew them thinking about the run out.

A clearance from the break whilst playing 8 ball pool should be a pretty standard thing for a half decent player.

finally first real run out directly after break in 8ball yesterday. had a run out once before after opponents break (but for me that's not really a real runout). far away from a 9ball run out (but i also play a lot less 9ball). and no, unfortunately i can't call myself a half decent player yet

I made my first run out in 8-ball 15 years ago. I'm an amateur but when I'm in top shape (it happened only once), I can run out 5 games of 9-ball in a row.
I almost made a run out in snooker (119). I missed my position on the blue and was so frustrated... With studies and work, I stopped playing.

Most peoples first run (Im guessing) would be 8ball just bc the game is more popular. My first run out was in 8ball but that was so long ago who can really remember

8-ball since that was the game predominately played by amateurs. I was probably 14.
