Ok, we've heard it a million times but would the public rather Ronnie retire or do you still want him to stick around? Personally, i would like him to continue playing as he is a joy to watch in full flow, but when he's not happy i'd rather he just didn't turn up because he acts like an 8 year old just beaten by his best friend.

I feel the drama of him mentioning retirement after every defeat takes alot of spotlight away from the guys doing well on the baize and overshadows tournaments bizarrely.

Also would the game miss Ali Carter who threatened to quit after his exit from the UK champs? A player with so much potential still to fill i feel.

tbh i can see him dropping off the tour. if he has a fail at the world champs he will be endanger of falling outside the top 16, and i cant see him sticking around if that happened's.

i think he will drop off the tour and just play the few special invitational events (masters and power snooker) and maybe playing some pool tour. he has said a number of times that he feels like he's being blackmailed in to playing loads of tour events which he doesn't want to play, some of which he claims to be losing money by playing.
