Virtual Pool 4 is pretty good for the PC. It's got online multiplayer formats, including tourneys.

There was an older game I use to play that had an actual tournament bracket that you would play computer opponents it was great. I just cant remember the name of it

That Virtual Pool 4 is pretty cool.. Cant believe I missed that game

Pool Nation is fun, although not nearly as realistic as the Virtual Pool series. I play Pool Nation on PC but I think it's available on other platforms too.
