Pretty sick for Mark Allen to scratch (or "go in off" as you crazy Brits say) on that last black. Last time I saw that was for a match I was actually doing the commentary on myself, lol. Has to have been 20 years ago.

Agreed. I was/still am on his side regarding shortening matches, but his comments after the last match were stupid.

I agree though, I realise that the WC is supposed to be like test cricket but a best of 25 round of 16 match sounds absurb to me. It's more frames than most finals.

He accused Cao of bad sportsmanship for not declaring a foul on himself when it looked like he made a push shot.

I was watching it, and tbh it did look like a foul, but yeah, you really can't go and say that. Even if it's 100% conclusive, it's not exactly great gentlemanly behaviour to go around rubbishing someone's character. Bite your tongue, shake the guy's hand and say well played.
