Based on the book of the same name by Roberto Saviano (the guy who wrote Gomorrah), made by the creators of Gomorrah, starring Gabriel Byrne, soundtrack by Mogwai.

Plot description stolen from IMDB:

"A cocaine shipment makes its way to Europe, starting from the moment a powerful cartel of Italian criminals decides to buy it, to its journeys through Mexico, to its shipment across the Atlantic Ocean."

Anybody watched this yet? I intend to start tonight. I realize tv is full of drug dramas, but I think there's a pretty good chance this will be better than most of them: a) Gomorrah is really good, b) a Mogwai soundtrack makes anything watchable, c) it's getting great reviews.

I believe it's on Amazon prime for Americans and on HBO for us Euros (at least here in the nordics).

Also, if you haven't seen Gomorrah the tv show, watch that one first. You won't be disappointed.

Watched the whole thing, meh that was a bit disappointing. The Calabria storyline was worse than the worst plotline of Gomorrah, and the Monterrey stuff was just completely uninteresting.

The brother+sister stuff was really good tho. The guy who played the brother is a great actor, reminded me of a young DiCaprio
