I agree with this, Lindsay was rocking it.

It appears any scenes with underwear only are triggering rhe nudity warning which is weird. We got the same warning in the episode where she asks Edgar to take lingerie pictures, even though that was the only part approaching nudity.

lol, just think how hot she'd be if she added 20 lbs. I applaud all of your enlightened progressive attitudes.

Meh you can say that about most actresses save for Melissa McCarthy and a few others.

Yup they do. The episode was largely inspired by this:

Caught up on the season to date in the last 2 days, random thoughts:

love it, a lot different but just as good as s1

Solid Halloween ep (bottle ep too) loved the cheesy paranormal activity camera tricks

Lindsey is great, and just my type, but yeah she put on a few pounds. looked better before.

Theater girl is a solid addition, and cute as hell.

Best laughs, theater girl joking her way into giving a blowjob, Lindsey dumping the froyo, and Jimmy telling gretchen they need to leave before rape sounds start coming from edgars room

How are the ratings btw? s3 looking good?

Agreed, that was absolutely spectacular. Just a total emotional wallop but completely sincere, honest, and earned. I can't recall the last time an episode of TV hit me like this one did.

For few minutes I thought I recorded the wrong show.

I saw a reaction coming from Gretchen, but not like that and certainly not that it'd hit me the same way.

One of the better eps of TV I've seen in quite awhile.

Lol, I skipped ahead ten minutes and saw the same couple but noticed they looked like alternate versions of Jimmy and Gretchen with the glasses on.

Alright, I guess I'll be the dumbass. It was over my head. Like she see's them as this perfect couple or something? Maybe I should have paid better attention but it was just weird having this random couple be the focus of the episode all of a sudden. It was a miss for me.

Yeah I watch "you're the Worst" for different reasons then what was showed in this ep. I probably would have watched it tomorrow or another time if I had known.

They are pounding this depression thing. It seems clear that someone (writers) there or someone they know is / has suffered from depression.

This show has gone from my favorite current running comedy to a show about mental illness. That's a bummer if you're watching expecting to laugh.

But this episode was still good television. I'll still watch hoping for the over the top laugh fest with smart pop culture references to return.

Not sure about the depression storyline either but the show is still easily holding my interest so it's not a big deal imo.

I'm usually not as big a fan of this show as most, but I thought the episode was fantastic. Really like the direction they're taking this season.

Good to know Jimmy gets his motivation techniques from Nathan for You.

Liked the ep but tough to pack all that story into 22 min, wouldn't expect the dad to open up so quick about regretting his life and considering divorce to someone he just met.

I wish Gretchen has absentmindedly mailed those letters after half listening to jimmy

I expected that to happen in the following scene to set up the comedic aspects for the rest of the season.

This one is a weird one for me. On the one hand saying your clinically depressed and then actually seeing unfold in spectacular fashion makes for great t.v. On the other hand I was expecting to laugh instead I almost cried. I did like the episode but will probably appreciate it more in a couple of days.

That said I'm assuming this is more of a one off type of deal and they'll get back to the "script" so to speak.

Yeah, the letters thing was a nifty fake-out on their part, well played. Speaks to the show's originality.

+1

Also +1 to hoping she absentmindedly mailed the letters after not listening to Jimmy.

This ep gave me similar feelings to the first time I saw The Graduate and didn't quite get the ending, but felt like I liked it.
