Airtime: Sundays, 9pm EST
Channel: ABC
Where to watch to get caught up: free on Hulu. They are around halfway through the season right now.
Premise: Cross between the movie Clue and the reality/game show The Mole. 13 contestants show up at a mansion. 1 is murdered. Each contestant gets an opportunity to search 1 of 3 places for clues (usually crime scene, body in the morgue or last known whereabouts). They can then all talk to each other or form alliances or whatever. Then at the end, like in The Mole, they go to private confession and have to try and reconstruct what happened, then guess which contestant they think is the killer.
Whoever does worst is the next person killed, and remaining contestants recreate that murder etc. It's pretty cool that they actually use the real contestant, cover them in appropriate gore makeup or whatever to signify the manner of death. The end of each episode has 15seconds of comments by the 'dead' player in full makeup talking about their death and their time on the show.
Murders: Remember the riddle "a guy is found dead by hanging, below him is a puddle of water, how did he die?". The murders are all of this type, kinda of elaborate, lots of red herrings, etc. But they all are solvable if people share enough information.
It's no Breaking Bad, but there's not a lot of new shows on in summer, and if you liked the movie Clue, the show The Mole, or murder mystery riddles, this show is one for you that you may not have heard of.
