Episode 1 was good and the show quickly became terrible after that. Hugely disappointing given the hype and having Nathan Fielder involved.

Not sure how it can be renewed - everyone's guard is up. It's like Punk'd, which they tried to renew by casting different people but by then everyone was suspicious and the bits were much worse. SBC will be back at it again, but not until it's been long enough for people to be just as gullible as they were here.

Binged this show, and largely agree. Best part was the real Congressmembers saying insane things about kids with guns. Or maybe the Jason Spencer segment, given the outcome of him resigning. Racist town hall was good but such low hanging fruit. The other episodes needed better segments with real politicans.

This is a prime example of film that has no "point" imo.

On the plus side, amazingly ambitious in terms of spectacle, gotta give props to the makeup team too, damn. Also pretty great that it got that moron to resign, as well as highlighting how totally insane the right vs left is. That said, he kind of blows it by being such an ******* that, for instance, you can legitimately empathize with the town of people who don't want a mosque. So it's kind of funny, but it's mean and meaningless.
