Peter Burke is played by the same actor that was Bizarro Jerry in Seinfeld. When I recognized that I was highly amused.

And the first non-green screen Tiff Theisen scene of the season too.

I was going to mention that and forgot. I really hope those green screens are over with now..... they were really awful.

They only did that because she was pregnant during filming (for some reason to make editing easier or something like that i guess). Now she has had the kid they will have filmed the rest normally i assume.

I get why they did it, it just looked sooooo bad. Almost like her skin tone didn't work too well with the screen and they couldn't figure out how to solve it.

I understand why it was done... I just thought it was really poorly done. The green screen on whose line is it anyway looked higher quality than what they had on usa. Luckily it was only used a few times and was never even remotely important.

first the poker scene and now credit card roulette.. I think the screenwriters have been reading too much 2+2. and now we have to wait a week to find out what's in the box!!! spoiler: kate's head

Not the most thrilling episode.. I thought the case was quite bad really (compared to most cases) but 1 out of 20-something episodes can be a dud I suppose. It feels like the music box stuff was a bit rushed this week, even with the summer finale being next week.

I did get a kick out of the credit card roulette idea

The way the guy introduced it I thought they were talking about russian roulette or something.

CCR being on a TV show sucks, now a bunch of frat guys will be trying to act badass over some $45 tab at Chili's.

I thought this episode was very well done... the first few minutes were meh, as I thought they were rushing things a bit, but after the tempo slowed down.. I thought it was very good.

Spoiler:
if Mozzy is dead I am going to be so sad. he was my favorite character in this show and we were just getting to see some more of his depth.

Can't wait until January.

just wanted to say i just started watching this show to kill some time, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Sorta like Burn Notice in the not too serious but still well done and enticing hour of TV, except I like it even more. great stuff.

I seriously hope Mozzy's not dead. He's a really nice supporting character. He can't be dead, eh?

Spoiler:
He can be dead. Kate got killed to end the fall season. Seems like the show will have no problems killing characters that are important to the show. If Mozzy is dead I will be real sad. He is/was a great character.

Spoiler:
Kate had almost no screen time and definitely nowhere near as significant a role as Mozzy. I for one will be really pissed if he's dead, but my guess is since he didn't get doubletapped like the chinaman he's going to pull through. /wishful thinking

Spoiler:
Kate still played a big roll in the entire plot. Her death is what the entire show is about. Mozzy was a piece to the puzzle in helping out Neil. I just wouldn't be surprised if Mozzy is dead. I like shows that have no problem killing off secondary characters.

why we talking in spoilers?

I think Mozzy is alive. Based on this ep, I would bet Kate is as well.

you didn't see her plane explode?

Yea I saw the explosion, but I've seen TV before too, so I know there's always a real chance people return from the dead. Now we learn she intended to fake her death the moment she stepped on the plane? She's alive, or at least the door is open to the possibility.

It's certainly something that can happen now.. but I think I'd be disappointed if it did.

Anyone else think that the picture Peter showed Fowler was way too obscure for Fowler to be able to immediately identify who the guy is?

OT again: Covert Affairs has turned into a decent little show so far.. not nearly as good as White Collar.. but certainly better than I had thought after the drop off from the pilot to the second episode.

No way Mozzy is dead. He is the third most important character in the show.

Plus bear in mind the last mid season break last year was Peter wearing his ring meeting Kate.

Also like KneeCo im not convinced Kate is dead either.

Mozzy is the best character in this show and I'd be reasonably surprised if he was alive, seeing as how he just got shot straight in the heart. Unless they pull the ol' money clip bullet stopper trick, he's gone.

I'm probably done watching it if he is indeed dead.

Where do I recognize the actor from who was in the last scene (not Mozzy...the other character)
