Quite the nice and easy sendoff.

Spoiler:
Being USA, they'd never had followed through on killing Caffrey, but they did last quite awhile with the idea that he could be.

I read an interview where Jeff Eastin described the ending he thought of when he first pitched the show:

Spoiler:
I had a different ending [in which] Peter finally released Neal. This was going to be the moment when Neal has to decide what he’s going to do. And so he walked up to the Flatiron building in New York, and he’s tossing a coin. In one version, the coin lands heads, and he goes to the right and he gets in a limo with Mozzie and they go off to be the greatest criminals ever. And then we’re back with Neal, and he’s standing at that same intersection, tosses the coin and it comes up tails and he goes left and he goes to the FBI. We realize it’s a few years later and Neal’s taken over Peter’s job as head of the White Collar Crime division and he’s now an FBI agent and very happy. And then we come back to Neal, and he’s in that same spot. He tosses the coin and just before it lands, we go to black. We never know which choice he finally made. That was the ending that I had settled on from the moment I sold the series. I pitched that ending along with the series to USA six years ago, and it’s one I had planned to stick to.

Spoiler:
So when does Mozz realize Neal isn't dead? Peter sees the queen in the shipping container which suggests Mozz was there. Additionally, Mozzie had all of the money, seems like Neal would need him for this France getaway.

When Mozzie it figures out seems to be a little ambiguous to me. It's clear he knows once Peter finds the container, but I'm unsure if he knows the whole time or figures it out later.

Decent ending. Not really what I was expecting the ending to be like (before seeing this ep) but good anyway. Too bad the show is over even though the last 2 seasons weren't as good as the previous ones.

I thought this final season was pretty good, but yeah the last 2 with Neals dad and with Neal working for the Dutchman were pretty weak.

Just finished the show on Netflix.

Neal did the Irish Exit and left a card for Moz and Peter. Once Peter finds the card, he invites Mozzie for dinner and shows him. So they all know he is alive and just wait for Neal to contact them.

I really enjoyed the show. Was a lot of fun and i was sad when it was over.

RIP Willie Garson. He really made Mozzie such a great character.

I thought it was pretty good. And for the duration of it, if I remember correctly. One of the better USA shows of that era.

So long as you don't take it seriously at all, it's definitely good fun. Easy show to turn your brain off to.

I liked the BBC show Hustle, and I'm feeling the same vibes here

Just started rewatching that for the first time since it came out 18yrs ago, which makes me feel very old! Definitely has a similar style and feel to it.
