Just watched the first 2 eps of this one and have really taken a liking to it.

The plots have been decent thus far, it seems like there's going to be a bit of a story arc, both the main characters have a certain charm making them fun to watch, and it's got my girl TAT. What's not to like? Anyway, have any of you checked this out yet?

I've seen both episodes and really liked it, though I'm a sucker for a TV show where the main character is really cool / a badass. House, Psych, Burn Notice, Dexter all fit this bill for me.

Hah I like all those shows too except I started getting bored with Dexter like halfway thru season 3 and have only watched like 2 episodes of House

Sepinwall said good things about the show so I recorded the first 2. I'll probably watch the first 3 some time this weekend.

Yeah it's not a very good sign that this is starting off on Fridays. I'm hoping for one solid season from it and if I get more great. Though I think Psych is also on Fridays and it seems to be doing fine so who knows, maybe Friday isn't such a dead zone anymore on networks like USA(ones that rerun their shows 1 birrion times).

Kelly Kapowski plumped up a bit, but I don't mind, still nomnomnom

cool show, USA is home of cool people doing cool ****. Psych, Burn Notice, Monk, House, and now this show.

It didnt grab me as much as Psych did when it started but its definitely got something.

I cant help feeling like the crimes themselves arent that exciting though. Time will tell if they keep my interest. I mean show me a dude bludgeoned to death in CSI and i can relate to that being really bad, but show me someone faking some 18th century bank notes or whatever and i just dont care a great deal emotionally about them catching the bad guy.

Also the fed guy isnt given enough credit by the writers. I mean i know that the point of the show is the criminal dude being an expert but the fed is one of the worlds best, who in fact caught the criminal dude amongst many other top of the line counterfeiters etc. So when it just feels like every episode he is bungling around in the dark not having a clue and the criminal dude comes up with a genius plan that is as simple as throwing a party it just seems a little fake to me.

Right now it just seems like one character is entirely carrying the show, unlike Psych where Spencer is the main guy Gus, Jules and Lassie are very key characters

I don't know if I totally agree with this. They said it took him three years to catch the criminal guy (I keep wanting to call him Bryce Larkin), so I find it completely believable that he can't catch other quality criminals in a small window of time.

Disagree completely. The interplay between the agent and the white collar guy is awesome. I think the actor playing the agent is doing it wonderfully and, if anyone is, he's actually the one carrying the show so far.

I'm a big Burn Notice guy and I'm hoping this show can keep my interest like that one does.

The show is really hitting it's stride. Very good episode all around. And less Theissen which is good. I liker her and her character but the show seems to stop whenever's she on.

man I really thought the bald head dude might be Neil's nemesis, esp. as he picked up the pay phone to talk to the girl. Would have been pretty badass.

I am liking the show, but WHAT THE HELL with this stupid "Kate"

I mean, come on. The main character is a smart guy, why would he keep chasing a girl that obviously is playing him...

It frustrates me. Start hittin' it with that 21 year old millionaire, or any other girl. Why this girl who doesn't want to be found and only wants his stolen and hidden goods?

Well, you are missing the point.

What I'm saying is, they didn't build her up for us in any way, we don't care about her....

How bout a flashback where we can see her in a positive light?

The mystery of it is the whole point of what will be (at least) a season long slow burn arc.

I understand you want to like her and get that info, but its best to leave it ambiguous right now imo. I mean you summed up the best part of this yourself, we dont know if she is being held captive and by who, we dont know if she wants to rip him off or whatever and to make her seem likeable takes away the whole concept of this story right now.

This show is just past the 1/3 mark of its debut season, there is no need to rush into this and we dont need to like Kate right now. They are clearly building the story up and doing a pretty good job of doing so imo.

Nice twist at the end of the last episode. I'm very impressed with this show. There hasn't been an off episode yet and for a new show that's pretty impressive.

Can't wait 'till tomorrow

I think it's ******ed that tomorrow is the season finale. This abbreviated season (or splitting seasons in half) BS seems to be the big new trend with cable networks. Just make 12 or 13 episodes each season and air them all in a row FFS.

agree. Plus, Monk series finale is right before it too. Even though I'm not a regular with that show, part one last week of their series finale was compelling.

That interpol agent had a huge butt for being a hot Asian chick.

Anyone else notice this?

I think it's always been like this. They take a break for the holidays/summer.
