He is still alive, and he cried because they won't give him his baseball bat and he misses it.

Re: The Walking Dead - Season 9

This season - and the Neagan arc in general - has been the best TWD we've seen since season 1 (or maybe 2). You guys remember the Govnahhh ? lol.

Note that I haven't said it was good, just that its the best we've seen in many years. So we should probably not complain or nitpick about the show right now.

EDIT- Oh, and my money is on Negan having successfully tricked Maggie obviously

Holy f****** ****balls this show is bad. The Maggie - Michonne moment was actually not that bad but all the lazy zombie writing is terrible.

Also, was that Carol or Sean Connery from The Rock?

I only watched the first episode this season. Haven't been able to watch the rest. How did Rick die? Is it another he gets bit, and it's drawn out?

lol not sure if I should answer or not... but he was gravely wounded and medics arrived in a helicopter just in time to save him. He is currently with them, and supposedly won't be on the show anymore, although in a few seasons they won't be able to resist the ratings boost by advertising "Rick's Return"

Re: The Walking Dead - Season 9

the 6 year jump did nothing to enhance the show. it's still awful.

and how are there still giant packs of zombies wandering around? shouldn't they be all decomposed/fallen apart by now?

Yeah itís hilarious how little had changed in 6 years. I burst out laughing when they showed Negan still locked up.

Incarceration seems quite inefficient in the ZA.

lol what, hes literally the "evilest dude" they know, butchering main cast ppl in front of the others etc. yeah, lets keep him around for 6 years, feeding him while we all starve and the risk of him getting out in some way due to human mistakes and kill us all in our sleep. Yup.

Its not like he needs a trial for his doings, or that he is innocent until proven guilty. They have no moral obligations to not just string him up in a rope in a world like the ZA.

Yes, although if you want to nit I think a better one is that most of them should have burned whatever fuel was in their bodies and run out of energy to move at all in the first few weeks. Particularly the disembodied heads

I have definitely wondered how brains stay intact when the rest of the body decays. But that's the case in every zombie movie/show.

I liked the "we're all infected" bit. After that I liked even more how they never tried to explain with Star Trek style technobabble.

Yeah, I was totally cool with that. There's a ton of stuff in every sci-fi, fantasy, super hero, etc. movie/show that we just have to accept as true. Like how nobody ever goes to the bathroom.

This has definitely been one of the better seasons in a while, despite the fact that I haven't been in it.

was hoping someone else would bump so I don't feel so pathetic *sigh*

I did watch the S9 2nd half premiere. It wasn't good, but less bad than some of the other episodes.

a lot more setup with the whisperers so dom u should be thrilled.

the thing I don't get (well, one of many things) is:

I caught up. But the show seems so strange now.

Rick and Maggie AFK

I don't know what to make of the Whisperers yet.

I had forgotten about the time jump, and why Judith was put on guard Negan duty.

Urgh me too. I caved and started watching it again. I am actually finding it slightly less annoying than other seasons. Negan not having Lucille is a plus, also I think my expectations were so low when I started watching again that it feels a little better overall I mean it's still not good...

Lol how did that hysterical kid die though? Alpha wasn't covering his nose, thought I heard a crack but there is no way she'd break his neck by holding her hand over his mouth.
