OMG the way Eugene talks tilts the **** out of me. What writer thought that was a good idea?

And the Priest is suddenly dying? How'd that happen?

im starting to think the autistic hillbilly ****** may actually be the smartest of the whole bunch.

jesus christ this season's writing is mind-blowing. instead of a talking dead show, they should just have a reality TV show of the writer's room discussions as the come up with each episode.

I don't think this show is ever going to end.

Who was that chick with Eugene? Cute. Is show one of the ones that wants to kill herself? And what the **** is Eugene doing? I swear, this show makes feel like an idiot sometimes because people's motivations are so random and nonsensical.

She was one of the ones who asked Eugene for poison way back forever ago, under the guise of wanting to help one of Negan's wives commit suicide.

Did he always talk like that? From what I recall he talked normally but with little hillbilly circumlocution every now and then or maybe he talked like that all the time but in digestible bits, but damn hearing it a whole episode was grating.

Even though I knew the show was getting pretty bad going into this season, I used to get some entertainment value out of it, now I can barely watch it. I'll watch next week for the mini-finale but I'm not sure if I will be able to pick this show back up again after the break.

Also I was switching between this and SNF and the SNF commercials were actually shorter. At one point, walking dead went to commercial, I switched to SNF and watched a couple plays and then it went to the two minute warning, SNF got back on the air before the walking dead resumed. Has to be some of the longest commercial breaks in all of TV.

If you imagine Tommy Wiseau as the writer and director, it makes for a more enjoyable experience.

so Rick goes to the trash people for help even after they doublecrossed him

they lock him up and strip him down to his skivvies, but bring him out to take pictures and paint him

then they decide to zombify him

he fights back and he's on the ground with guns pointed at him

but bowlcut has a detached zombie head next to her on the ground soooo

they surrender and make another deal

that's really what happened?

Yes they went from "realistic and gritty" to Saturday morning cartoon morality

OMG..just imaging the last two seasons with one change - Tommy Wiseau as Negan but he thinks he is the hero of the story, not the villain

Even in half paying attention to the show, I was definitely thinking this. I'm like, uh, why don't the just shoot him and then pick their girl up away from the zombie head?

Yeah, this was the most ridiculous scene since that one last week.

Will someone please take this show behind the barn and riddle it with bullets!

I can't wait for the shocking development next week which will suck me back in for the next half season. I'm worthless & weak.

I'm gonna be the contrarian here and say that I'm enjoying the show a lot more in the past few seasons with Neegan than before he and the Saviors were introduced. Let's not forget the days where we spent an entire season where the main plot was looking for Sophia, who turned out to just be a zombie in the barn the entire time

Pause for a second and pretend you were trying to tell someone what's occurred in the first SEVEN (yes, that's how many have aired) episodes of this season. Sure, you could tell tell them pretty much nothing of consequence and would be correct in that description, but imagine actually trying to explain things. Yikes this show is hella bad.......

So, the season finale is this Sunday? No way Neagan dies, right? They’re gonna drag this **** out for 4 more seasons. You really could have watched the first episode and probably this finale and missed absolutely nothing of consequence.

The mid-season finale. They press pause and then air the back end of the season around February.

Yeah.

What I want to do is not watch for a while and wait to binge the second half of the season, it would prob not be as painful.

But I know I'm also weak and will continue watching it. It's as if the writers are taunting me, like how bad can it be before I finally quit the show.
