Season needed more side-quests if the Great War is on hold until next year.

Ok so that's the 3rd or 4th attempt at Negan and he's still trying the come work for me routine? Or is he just saying that to keep whoever he captures complacent so he can use them against Rick? Because he seems really dumb to keep trying the same thing. After 4 or 5 attempts you think he'd be telling Rick to get everyone in line.

Also I guess we have confirmation that Eugene is full on traitor and not a one person mole because he told Negan about Rick's running around behind Negan's back?

I feel like nothing has happened this season. Literally the entire season, except for the first episode, has been filler episodes where nothing happens. What an all time terrible season for a tv show. I'm still gonna watch because I'm just curious how the entire series will wrap up. But I guess I suppose I could read about it when it's all over and not watch, but where is the fun in that.

Are they gonna find a cure? Will they ever leave Georgia and go north or something? It's a shame amc will probably milk the series for another 3 seasons until I actually get to find out how it all ends. And I kinda want it to end already. I realize they gotta kill negan before any of that happens, and that could very well be a while. Don't think he's gonna be killed already in the season finale

So....Sasha enters the Saviors' compound...

...some stuff happens that we don't see....

...and then we see she's been captured.

After almost an entire season of really not very much happening, it's amusing that the show runners think they've built up enough good will with their audience to deliberately not show us something that's actually happening.

Did Eugene not get captured before Rick decided to fight?

Is the traitor not Gregory?

Im shocked that no one has commented that Sasha and Negan nearly almost finally decided the long running 2+2 debate of knife vs bat

I will say the season is a success if there is a twist that no war takes place. The cliffhanger could be Negan hands Rick a treaty and immediately exits the railway car.

Oh, are they? I really haven't been paying attention how far they've moved along from Atlanta all these seasons lol. I figured they were just in northern ga or whatever. Not that it matters much I guess. Where was the prison located? I figured that was still Georgia. Guess I thought they really haven't moved on too far from that after the whole governor season etc

This show is already slated to run to season 12. So you are going to be waiting for awhile.

Would be awesome if the Garbage People are the ones that tipped off Negan and Rick's crew just got all the guns for them.

True I didn't think of that. I rewatched thr last two episodes with the wife and at least in thr parts that we know about Gregory never sells them out or really hints at it in any direct way. His b*tching about "other people taking over" seemed more directed at losing the doctor than anything specifically that Rick did, so I don't know, but he's definitely set up to sell out the crew when something goes down.

I know the henchman's name is Simon but I refuse to call him anything but AC Repair Guy and he's legit got the best character writing /actor combination in the show.

Yeah he's an old school character actor, playing basically the same guy as his appearance on BCS.

There are actually several excellent actors on the show, but they just aren't the main characters so we don't get to see them in all their acting glory often enough.

I could be wrong, as I somewhat just tuned out bc this show is so ****ing bad....but didn't gregory say like, "get the car" or something to his sidekick dude? Or am I just completely imagining things?

edit: implying he was going to negan to rat

Yes, he told someone he needed them to drive him somewhere, which would be the meeting point the saviors from the last episode told him to go to, implying he wanted to get either Jesus or Maggie killed, but it's possible he could be ratting on other things as well.

You wish it was 3 seasons. Saw an article the other the day where i think it was the producer who said he wanted to do 20 more seasons. L O L.

Just watched last weeks episode. Usually my DVR records for over an hour but this week I notice it was an hour exactly. Are the episodes shorter? I've also never watched Talking Dead, unless I missed it was there no promo this week for it?
