When the priest was driving off in the pre-credit sequence, did anyone else see another head pop up in the car? Also, why would a scribbled "boat" mean that the priest knows where houseboat is that rick and gay dude went to? And how would he know they know about it?

This show makes no ****ing sense.

I thought the notebook contained the blueprints to Lucille.

Michonne is not smiling, though I'm not sure she can.

I'm guessing he's smiling because he saw Father Gabriel with the group. Gabriel brought the food and weapons to the group.

I cant understand how noones laughed at the multikill yet? Or multiplierbonus, or combobreaker, or whatever you wanna call it, I flashbacked to the original GTA game where the biggest killstreak was the jogging crew.

Yeah it was ****ing stupid for sure. Remember when TWD was supposed to be a gritty, realistic show?

I remember the din of incessant whining about the missing daughter on a farm. That was the during the most thickly 'realistic' portrayal of characters in a zombified world.

The score and camera work for this episode was miles away from gritty realism. They had some loud synth music, some action quick cuts like they were in some action thriller.

You mean the season were they hid a whole herd in a barn without anyone knowing for god knows how many weeks? The season where they used Glenn as a bait on a hook down a well? The season we interacted for the first time with the deer god? You mean the season where the first lady of the show flips a car upside down for semingly no reason at all? The season they bitch about dishes? The season where they had zombie repellent fence?

and so on so on so on.. yes. "realistic".

I don't think S2 took that long in tv time. Getting the breathing thing for Carl (Save the Last One may be the goat episode) took maybe two days. But otherwise yes, that season where posters were furious that unprepared characters made unwise choices and were preoccupied with personal drama.

I actually thought this was one of the better episodes of the season, not that that's an especially high bar to clear.
My other thought was that it was a callback to Michonne telling him he can smile. Like he can't help but smile/fake smile while thinking, "Well, this is another fine mess we've gotten ourselves into."

Or he's just faking an awkward smile to try to look friendly.

I have no complaints about the mass zombie clothesline. Goofy-ass cartoon **** like that is fun.

Yeah, and they usually mess up stuff like that so badly it's not fun, so kudos. That said my eyes couldn't possibly have rolled more.

The rest of the EP: Typical TWD filler garbage. and WTF at the new music cues Hue mentioned, weird.

It seemed very clear to me that this was the timeline of what happened.

Someone showed up at Alexandria, and convinced Gabriel somehow to steal all the food and leave. That was the shadowy figure in the car. That same person shows up at the end and Rick sees them and recognizes them.

Who it is, I have no clue.

The Governor shot Daryl's brother, who turned into a zombie. Daryl had to finish him off.

The black guy who went with the girl who got caught by the amazon colony - did we actually see him die or was it just implied? The doctor from the first season? I legit can't think of any real candidates.

No he didn't die. Tara suspected he did but the walker turned out to be female.

I haven't seen the show for a couple years now but Gabriel is still alive and screwing the group over again? I thought he was in their good graces after he left the gate open and the Zombies came in.

I'm so jealous I didn't get to be the Road Warriors walker.*

*I'm not in this season. I was contacted three times, but they changed plans three times. My kids got in an episode (I believe I noted that earlier), but you can't really see them.
