I dunno but I feel like something in that dialogue made it seem like they knew each other

he was just explaining that he is cattle. Remember he was one the far left in the bathtub throat slitting scene @ terminus.

I was so convinced he was damaged, when he was taking a few extra kisses as a "omg, I'm gonna be missing this when I become real sick and infected like, dangerous infected" and having a hard time walking, and so they are now eating infected meat. I was hoping for a big "BAWHWHAhhahahahha you're eating zombie flesh" and pull up the other legs pants and show a bite.

It was a pretty good ep up to that point tbh. Terminus dudes going after those that absolutely destroyed them feels a bit suicidal in a already tough world, especially when they are supposedly to be "good guys in the start". I mean, I can understand that they think they are doing the right thing luring people there, as they kinda need food and does not trust anyone and therefor makes it easy on themselves by killing and eating everyone. But going after a specific, very armed and dangerous group....? RAMBO ON RAMBO ACTION

Really hoping that gareth and the cannibals(good name for a band) does not drag on all season. kill them off within the next 2-3 episodes and keep moving on

in the comic:

Spoiler:
dale is killed/eaten by the hunters as they're on the way to dc, i think, so this is probably that first on that road to get eugene to dc. prolly won't be many episodes, but cannibals are way too awesome to not get another storyline out of it. if you have cannibals as villains, a member of the hero group just needs to get eaten piece by piece, so yeah, it should take a little but of time.

Wow that was ****ing terrible.

Are we actually supposed to care about bob?

Lol @ new black guy joining the group at the same time bob (presumably) dies.

Wonder if 3dog will die once Morgan catches up with the group

isnt tyrese 3dog, bob 4dog, priest 5dog(that is - he is being kept long enough), and if he is kept morgan becomes 6dog, as his first appearance was not with any group and he was only in for 1 or 2 eps. Im pretty sure we had a 2dog before tyrese came along, but I don't remember him.

Do they ever eat anything but people? Can't be the most nutritional decision. I don't recall for sure but I don't think we ever see any side dishes in any terminus episode?

Also, seemed like there were ~30 termites in terminus. How many people a day had to be butchered to sustain them? I get that they had signs everywhere and radio broadcasts, but in post apocalyptic zombie world you wouldn't think there would be enough random people wandering along railroad tracks choosing to come to Terminus to sustain a population of a few dozen. They must have had some chicken coops somewhere that they just didn't show.

don't know how much meat is in a human. only need 3-4 oz per serving. They were all chowing on about 2/3 of a leg and some to spare. Math checks out on not needing many people but the ratio can't be too extreme.

monopolize the train tracks with signs and maps like that, and I doubt they struggled. seems like no one escaped to tell about em.

average human is 150-200lbs. Think about it that way and it's a ton of meat. I don't know how much weight is bones, but at least 100 lbs of meat per person should be recoverable (on average.) A 30 lb turkey serves 12 people at Thanksgiving and gives leftovers for days.

A person is a LOT of meat.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972_Andes_flight_disaster

16 people survived for 2 months on the meat from 29 others.

After reconsidering the episode I do think Bob was bitten in the water room. That might be my first legit nit about the show (why fight them down there instead of killing from above.) But regardless, there is no need to show the scene of Bob grappling with the zombie underwater unless he got bitten.

I don't quite know how it will fit in to the cannibals eating him. Seems odd that they'd die off in such a troll way. Also it's close to guaranteed Rick kills Gareth with that red handle machete like he said he would at the start of E01.

Where the hell is the blonde girl?

Don't think it was the alcohol bugging bob bros. there was something else going on.

Oh and lol this show

End of last season they showed the flashback to Daryl finding Bob. Did Bob say something about him being with a group that didn't work out?

It loosely follows the comics. It's exactly what happens to another character.

So was Robert drugged thus the hazy wake up? Cuz if not having trouble figuring how they chopped his leg off and he didn't wake up. Also looks like they captured him, chopped it off, grilled that **** up and woke him in about a 2 hr period?

Seems legit

Real shame Tyrese didn't kill that fireworks dude, if any person deserved to die it was him.

Gawd, The Wire cast are the biggest pussies.

Bob has to be bitten, dodn't know why he would go from smiling to crying like he did. I get he is a drunk so he went outside but I don't think he would be crying in that situation. Plus the kiss.

I'll admit to liking the first two eps of this season, even if the show has been pretty meh overall I still need to watching something besides football. There's always something though.

The jumping into the water bit. It makes me think back to the WWZ book where (after the zombie war was more or less over), they mention something like kids know not to play around water. Seems to make sense to me. Jumping into waist-high water in a dark basement with zombies clearly in it doesn't. It immediately pulls me out of the story enough to overthink it.

And yeah I agree that Bob was almost certainly bitten in the water. That was the whole point of the scene, and I don't see them trying to head-fake that twist. And even if the entire audience figures it out it's still worth seeing it next week so you can see a bunch of douchebags get theirs.

Also the cannibals work for the show but lol. Daryl's got a dozen squirrels hanging off of him and there have to be all kinds of other things you can catch/shoot/pick/find. Even if you suck, grubs and earthworms have to be 100x better not to mention vastly easier to find and catch. Crayfish? In a world where almost everyone is dead, finding food in the woods shouldn't be problematic at all. But yeah I know eating grubs wouldn't be good TV.

Are you really making a kitchen sink dramaturgical critique of a show based on a zombie apocalypse?

Agree that the cannibalism aspect by seemingly rational groups makes no sense.

You mean the irrational fear of cannibalism?

Man, didnt even think about that. We have a lovely spot in north of Sweden were we fish crayfish every summer in a river. We used to get insane amounts back in the days and huuuuge specimen, but then other people found out about that place and it got harder by the years to get a good batch as not enough survived to the next season. in a LOLOLZOMBIEAPOCALYPSE we could feast on big juicy crayfish every day for the rest of our lives... goddamnit one time let it happen, soo good.

the cannibals by this point have just accepted they are cannibals and are cool with it - so once you are in that frame of mind, then it is probably much easier to catch a stray human than a deer or pig or something. and gotta have meat!

the underwater fight scene reminded me of the well scene, where they lowered Glenn down vs. literally any other decision they could have made

I think Bob was probably bitten (and they will just reveal this by him pulling up the pants on his other leg) and this is how the cannibals get theirs

Lowering Glenn into a zombie well is like the best decision anyone on the show has ever made. It didn't work out, but that's just being results oriented
