It sounds like comic book readers have a better grasp on the Then/Now stuff at the beginning and end. Where the 3 people in the flashback in the present (and not killed, like people who got away from Terminus)? I thought this might be the case but I wasn't sure.

Terminus storyline was not in the comics, as far as i can remember

Watching Talking Dead, Gimpel (current show runner?) seemed to go into a lot of detail about the Terminus people, explaining plot points and such that we didn't see on screen. I'd assume we're not going to see any of them or he wouldn't have explained them. Why would they do something like that where not everyone is watching instead of just sticking the stuff he was talking about into the TV show.

We want you to know that we had deep thoughts about the cliff hanger's backstory that lasted all of 2 1/2 episodes.

I'm just glad she didn't get nabbed before they had a chance to flesh out all of their feelings and junk. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster.

Carol is really dedicated to the short hair look. Live a little and let your hair grow out.

Since everything everywhere has been going ape**** for this episode, I decided to break my vow and watch it. First episode I've willfully watched since early S2, and since I don't care about any of the non-action stuff, I just skipped to the fun stuff. Not bad.

Why was Rick so happy to see Shane's baby at the end of the episode?

Good episode, although I always get a bit tilted when main characters are saved by random lucky breaks like that leader guy breaking out into a full-on questionnaire while his guys are in the middle of cutting people's throats. And it happened twice, not just once. At least come up with some clever plan that Rick and company concocted to get out of it, even if it's a little unrealistic.

Yeah thought they botched that scene pretty bad. It had tension but at no point did I ever think Glenn was gonna die should've chosen a different character to be in that position with some chance they could die or even maybe potentially killed one of the minor characters in the group to give the Ep an even bigger wow factor then have Rick go through one of his rages where he uses the knife he had and does anything to survive.

I'm expecting a lot of black people to die, we have an overload now. Michonne, Morgan, Tyreese, Sasha, Bob and that new priest guy. We used to have just the mandatory black guy in T-Dog. Man, that actor must be seething because they're all getting lines.

Thoroughly enjoyed.

Do think they should have offed a real character at the trough.

so the thread enjoys an explosion driven episode with little to no character development?

To be fair this episode had more explosions and zombie slaughter than all episodes of last season together. Why would we watch this show if not for zombie slaughter and bad stuff happening. Don't really care about Carl character development tbh.

Surprisingly a very enjoyable episode !

Of course we enjoy that, because they're horrible at character development. As long as they stay on the move it's fine, as soon as they settle down the show becomes unwatchable.
