WOAT ep by far. I hated andrea from the first time around, and i still hate her immensly, she and lori are the two dumbest females on a tv-show ever. Bump Carol, Maggie time and kill Andrea off already if you need your female quota.

Solid American History X re-enactment.

lol Carol, YOU NEED TO SLEEP WITH HIM! Only thing they could've saved it with they obviously only teased us with, Andrea just sticking the knife in him and finally moving on to the next plot line. That would've actually been be a good scene, so it was to be expected.

Hershel knows about Merle because…?

Ahem Andrea, you are supposed to feign interest in sex with Milton.

They had me until the last two minutes. Lol at anyone who thinks the Gov is dying before the season finale.

agree with others that the episode would have been pretty good if Andrea did kill the gov. I also knew it wouldn't happen because the writers would never allow a wtf moment or any surprises/shocks

Let's have Merle say he was "just following orders." It's not very subtle but it's evocative. Ya know what a few people might not get it. Let's make Michonne say, "Like the Gestapo." Perfect. Now it's sufficiently clear that we are making that reference.

I think that was it? Literally nothing relevant happened. They at least owed us a good Merle scene and we got "do some cardio."

Excellent.

Exactly what I came to say.Really bad writing.Nothing cool or interesting for us to discuss.

Basically Andrea was aloud leave, argument, then she comes back, thinks about killing the Governor then she doesn't?

You would think that 3/4 through a season they would have moved from the jail. Its so boring.

I wonder what other message boards are saying about this show? Everyone here seems to be unhappy with the show and its writing. Yet, this show is still insanely popular

I don't know why everyone thinks Andrea killing the governor would have been awesome. A better scene would be the gov waking up seeing Andrea standing over him with a knife, then cutting off her head and starting a new head wall.

tonight's "I Ain't No Judas" was The Walking Dead at its best, combining brain-busting violence with some great character moments. YEAH I SAID GREAT CHARACTER MOMENTS! I know, crazy.

yeah, Andrea dying their would have been ideal. She's just the new Lori, acting all dumb and subtracting value from every group she's a part of.

he has asthma!!!!!

"Hey Zombie, bite on this rock and hold still."
"Done."

I watched this episode with distractions, so i don't really remember much more. I just can't be pleased by this show. To me, the war between groups of people during the zombie apocalypse will never make sense, but I guess they couldn't really have much of a show without it.

The show essentially has Andrea/Laurie Holden in the lead role at the moment. I wanted to contribute some kind of opinion here or post a .gif, but I'm just going to phone it in this week. Just like the show did.

Man, this tilted me no end. Hershel should have NO ****ING IDEA who Merle is or what he's about. Are we supposed to believe he and Daryl had some lengthy, in-depth discussions about him during the winter, so much so that Hershel immediately understood the situation as soon as Merle arrived at the prison? ****, no. It's just lazy-ass writers shoehorning characters into different places in the plot and asking us to fill in the gaps. They had a real opportunity for Hershel to be something other than 'token wise old man' if they had played up his inexperience with Merle's personality, but nope, they just decided to gloss right over that.

At the end I was pretty sure the Governor was gonna wake up and grab Andrea's hand just as she was about to kill him, which at least would have been a decent ending, but instead we get yet more half-assed ambiguity surrounding no-one's favourite character, and an episode arc for her that basically goes 'arrive -> awkwardness -> leave'. Really one of the worst episodes of the show, and another example of the show taking an episode to focus on a side character and suffering because of it. Finding myself rooting for the Governor to just wipe out Rick's group and redirect the show, tbh.

I wonder why Merle wasn't like "I worked for the governor for months because it was my only way to survive, he's crazy and will go through any lengths to stay in power and will kill anyone who is a threat to him, I know it, I've done it." when Andrea was being a dumb bitch about her loyalties. When I look at a good show, after most scene's I am satisfied with how the scene went, in this show just every ****ing scene tilts me.

Also if Cutty's crew ends up being "the crewmembers from the governor that the audience cares about when they are killed off", I vow to try and quit the show. Hated how the crew looked like the closest we have seen to a group still "being good guys" and now they're just like "yeah we'll totally help you kill these guys that saved our lifes and let us go away unharmed".

Most likely Cutty + girl will be added to the group, while those other two die. Not sure how they will deal with the black people overload if Morgan returns too, historically the writers have only been able to handle one.

Hershel knew about Merle because after Daryl left the group he probably asked to be filled in. Not like there is tv to watch and he has one leg. Might as well talk and talking with people is the best way to learn.

Unlike most of you, I find this show entertaining. I do have problems with where the show is going though.

My main problem is by the end of this season we will know nothing beyond what the main characters have seen. We've seen glimpses of people trying to figure things out, but never a long term story involved in it. We need more flashbacks, more government containment, nuclear meltdowns, oil spills, etc. The fact that people like the guy in his bed, cuddy and crew, Latinos on the bridge, etc can survive would mean the entire rural Texas/Louisiana population would probably still be alive.

This whole story line is a result of not having any long term goals for the show/characters. We've already seen them run away, hide, and have to leave a previously secure location because of Walkers. Now they are hiding in a secure location that couldn't be taken over by Walkers, and real (bad) people come along (that are secure themselves) and screw that up.

Though it is entertaining, it seems obvious what is going to happen next. They'll fight it out and the survivors will live in harmony until there is some kind of sign of civilization. That will essentially reboot the entire series and they will start from the beginning, except this time with a purpose.

IMO, it looks like AMC wants this show to go on for 20 seasons and they are taking their time.
