In the house scene some of the dead people were burnt to a crisp, that would prevent them from being zombies. There seemed to be a pile of bodies that didn't appear to be burnt though. Must have been zombies that had been killed when the occupants made their last stand. I might rewatch it at some point.

But no, the random dead people in cars don't have an explanation.

When Shane and Otis leave to get the respirator, the "gang" isn't there yet with the Winnebago full of guns they shouldn't use.

I noticed in last episode in stead of saying x by Durabont it was Developed by Durabont. firs tiem tey changed it for awhile.

I thought he only directed the pilot and that was it?

He did develop, write, and direct the Pilot (if it hadn't been for him, AMC would have never had this money maker). The Director of the Pilot is always given Executive Producer credit, but, in many cases, doesn't actually have much to do with the rest of the series. However, in Frank's case, he was the Showrunner, until he was fired during production of episode 7. There's also a level of visual continuity that is almost non-existent in TV shows, today. After the Pilot, I'm pretty sure every episode has been shot by the same Cinematographer, and edited by the same Editor. That's exceedingly rare.

I didn't notice that they removed his Executive Producer credit, but wasn't paying close attention, this week. I believe he also wrote Episode 1 of Season 2, but changed his credit to Ardeth Bey. I don't have 100 percent confirmation on that, though.

Just checked the credits for the latest episode, and his name is still where it's always been in the Main Title.

The house wasn't too complicated, there was a huge pile of dead zombies the people insdie fighting had apparently put down, and then somehow or another a fire had broken out in the garage scorcing a lot more.

The dead people in the cars make no sense, they aren't zombies, just people who somehow died just sitting in their cars.

If I were a writer and forced to come up with an explanation I'd say they were infected with the virus and died from it, but for whatever reasont hey never reanimated.

Or maybe the military action killed them suddenly somehow.

Regardless, I think they just included it to make things look more apocalyptic and ZOMG rather than having any sort of rational explanation.

Looks more like a mother/son relationship imo. If not, would be extremely creepy as she is like twice his age.

and since that's not what we are talking about, it's irrelevant. we're talking about the ages of the characters, not the ages of the actors, which is why we are referring to them as Daryl and cancer lady instead of saying Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride.

try again?

Neither of their ages have been mentioned, and I seriously doubt anyone thinks she's playing in her mid 50s and he's playing late 20s.

If you want to be realllly anal about, I would say the youngest he could be playing is late 30s, and the oldest she could be playing is 50, which is the outer ages of what Conz listed. She has an 8 year old to 10 year old daughter, so I think they're both playing their real ages. I have no idea what ages the characters are in the comic.

Also, the guy who played her husband is 34.

I'm really bad with ages on shows, but Daryl and Trim Job seem to not be in overlapping relationship spectrums. Also, saying Daryl's character is supposed to be in his late 30's at the very youngest is borderline absurd.

Also, Sawyer, Kate: Daryl, Trim Job? Uh, no. The writers can't be this bad.
