The characters making bad decisions is not a problem. The problem is them making inconsistent decisions.

There is no hindsight, no memory. The characters are segmented; what they did or felt yesterday has absolutely no bearing on what they will do or feel tomorrow.

That is the cause of the majority of the nittery

I didnt see lori getting her throat ripped out by a zombie/walker in the finale. And for this reason - I am disappointed. I had such high hopes too

Ways to end the show right now:

->Everyone gets a brain and starts using ninja swords instead of guns. Easy helicopter style killing.

->everyone then moves onto a small island in the middle of a lake (like in ontario where there's hundreds of islands). No more zombies sneak attacks.

->TWD writers are set loose upon the world to cause real mayhem and destruction in the name of down syndrome

= Chaos

That would've been good. I was hoping Carl would wander out into the middle of the zombie pack and get shot in the head.

Irony, I came here because the imdb board is a cesspool of trolls whining about characters that have gasp flaws.

Love the show and thought the finale was great, for what it is. This ain't fine art, ffs.

My nittery issues are from another perspective, and are as follows:

-are we to believe that a random helicopter was enough to get that giant horde of walkers to move out of downtown Atlanta?

-the kid who plays Carl makes me want to peel my face off. Yea, the writing is sophomoric, and the editing is sketchy but this kid's acting is poor enough to get him booted off the 5th grade production of Jesus Christ Superstar. I mean, if I notice how much you suck, there really is a problem.

-and why do only the black zombies gotta be in chains for?

I think gizmo said any noise draws them in that direction even if it goes away, and they walk in that direction until they hear another noise, gunshot. So the helicopter would be enough.

It was said last season I believe, but a motorcycle is the most idiotic form of transportation imaginable, especially the one Daryl has.

It's SUPER F'ING NOISY, like isn't the goal to be quiet? You can hear that damn thing a mile away, isn't it just a zombie magnet?

If you find yourself in the middle of zombies they can grab, bite, and scratch you while you are on it, you lose the ability to plow over them safely.

If despite these things you were still dead set on using a motorcycle, wouldn't you at least want to use one built for offroading or manuverability? That seems to be about the only advantage a bike would have.

I was going to give you a pat on the back, Dominic, so I clicked multi-quote figuring there would be something worth replying to down thread. Then I just found some more gems, so I figured I'd just make a little collection of awesome, and the leave the pile right here.

My favorite moment I haven't seen mentioned was when they're driving, and Rick suddenly slaps the steering wheel and says "Damn!". Lori: "What's wrong?" Rick :"We've been riding on red for the past hour."

I mean I know Rick loves to withhold pertinent information for no reason, Lori is an idiot, Carl is autistic, and T-Dog is mute. But really, the topic of how much gas they had never came up in conversation until THEY RAN ****ING OUT? Just so awesome.
