It's only been two days. Seriously, I have no idea, was just throwing it out there.

I agree, he is supposed to be 8 y/o and his balls are going to drop before the group even gets off the farm.

If we are lucky, the baby died in the accident and is now a zombie fetus slowly eating away at Lori from the inside.

They'd figure out a way to make it suck, I have no doubt.

I wish they had shown Shane's point of view after zombification, if he had any thoughts besides *brains*.

That is a fan ****ing tastic idea

If it hasn't happened before, you can thank Nottom for when it does happen in a zombie flick. I bet it has happened though

The closest I know of is in the remake of Dawn of the Dead. Definitely a quality zombie flick, but not as good as I remember it being. I remember rewatching it for the first time in a long time with my roommate and us cracking up while we mocked the overuse of the over-stylized shot of slow-mo shell casings hitting the ground. Nonetheless, it's a solid zombie flick-- for sure worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet.

Fwiw, the zombie fetus wouldn't really have strong enough bones to really cause any damage, at least early in the pregnancy anyway. It also wouldn't have teeth for some time. 3rd trimester fetus death one time, though...

Even a little kid with no teeth in the comic posed no threat...let alone 3rd trimester fetus.. : D

But, the fetus and cord blood being a two way street...what ever pathogen makes zombies zombies would flow right to the mother just like blood that is a different rhesus can jack 'em up tho.

Hopefully no matter the size or age it can do barrel rolls really fast and cause traumatic injury. Fetus Rolls ftw!

Was the "zombie shane" episode the series finale, or is there 1 more show?

1 more ep, looks like a zombie assault on the farm. I'll be so pissed if the whole ep is just the zombie surrounding the farm in a siege form and they spend 4/5 of the episode arguing how to get out.

Again, it's the commitment to getting everything wrong that brings me back to this show.

What if, instead of breaking his neck, Shane would've just stabbed Randall to death?

1) Would've been more obviously murder when Daryl and Glenn found his zombie corpse, you can't accidentally get stabbed.

2) Would've been plausible for Daryl to identify the cause of death as stabbing, instead of the ****ing ridiculous bit where Daryl diagnosed a broken neck and then started groping the corpse looking for bite marks

I'm very excited in the one of the previews for the next week
Spoiler:
they showed Glen riding around in the SUV to defend themselves against the zombie herd. KBZ plan in action!

though, the window was down.

kind of has to be to use the shotgun. but I bet they forgot to roll it up when they run out of ammo!

Shane stabbing the kid would have made no sense and been terrible writing. How would Shane explain the stabbing to everyone else - claim that he was able to get close enough to the kid who just shot Rick to stab him? That would have been ridiculous.

By breaking his neck, Shane can just shoot the kid a few times and no one will notice the broken neck. Unlike a huge knife wound, you won't notice a broken neck unless you closely examine the body (and once they see the gun shots they would have no reason to check his neck).

Also, stabbing the kid likely gets blood all over Shane's hands and clothes - how is he going to explain that?

Finally, a stabbing death is pretty slow unless you cut their throat - they weren't that far from the farm, so if Shane stabs him, there is a good chance the kid screams and someone hears them.

I don't really like this. Daryl looking over the scene and knowing everything that happened was LOL but IMO forgiveable in this kind of show. And the off camera neck snapping was kind of cool.

Doesn't make sense he got close enough to stab the kid, fine, so then why write this exchange between Shane and Rick?

Rick: You think they will believe whatever BS story?

Shane: It ain't a story. I saw the prisoner shoot you down. I ran after him and snapped his neck. It won't be easy but they'll get over you.

LOL yeah that was so cliche. Also he was pointing the gun at Rick even BEFORE zombie Shane got up... are we supposed to assume Carl was going to shoot his dad, but then changed his mind once Shane attacked?

I think that's so dumb, I'm going to go with the differently dumb explanation of "they screwed up the editing"
