This was my only problem with last nights episode. Seems she should've been asking many more in depth questions about V's intentions and how long they've been on earth.

My only other disappointment is that there will be no more episodes til March! WTF!

i've been wondering why there isn't more exploration of the Vs (ie: where do you come from, can you show us some pics of your planet, other planets, other life forms, etc?)

also, you all really think Anna and Lisa are that hot? Lisa maybe (in the bikini photo above she looks good) but on the show, to me they look weird. they def are not superstar hot.

i like the "the 5th column says hello" (i think in episode 3)... messing w/ the FBI agent V and then killing him was cool. i think the 5th column aspect is pretty cool.

apparently ABC also does this w/ LOST... shows 4-6 episodes and then takes long breaks (i watch LOST but didn't start watching live until last season).

damn you, ABC

all in all this show isn't bad and i hope it returns for sure in March.

I also liked the feel of the original series more, the V's were a much more militaristic culture, in the new one you don't see it.
Also, in the original they had stormtroopers that were at least somewhat badass. Now we have them attacking with rebar and telephone cords.

I'm the other way round. I also think Lisa looks hotter in the show than in that bikini photo, looks less airbrush-by-numbers

Anna is not as hot as she was in the first episode, especially after we've seen multiple angles of her mega hips.

As for the plot, I wonder what Lisa/Anna has in store for Tyler. Why all of the prominence? It seems like they are gearing him to be the human face of the invasion. But why?

the final shot of all of those ships was pretty badass - i liked how it the shot panned out and it felt like those ships were mighty far away - yet in contact w/ the ships hovering over earth, which is pretty cool.

anyone else wondering why the "rebels" don't just call CNN and the President and show them the evidence (aka cut open the one dood thats a 5th column guy on earth and show the world that he's a reptile?) i guess one answer is that the show probably would suck if they went this route

another one that makes me made: hey FBI mom, how about telling your son who is obv obsessed with the Vs "hey son, the Vs are evil reptiles, i love you so please stay away"

Lisa is super hot. She is ok on this show but she was unbelievable in her arc on Smallville. I think she is practically perfect in every way on Smallville.

i was only marginally interested after the first 4 episodes, i can't imagine getting back into this in 4 months

One of Anna's most trusted men is a 5th columnist, so makes sense that it serves their cause more if they let her live and be in charge than letting someone unknown take her place and lead the V's.

They probably get to make the human skin the way they want, so even if Anna is 50 or 500 hundred reptilian years old, and her daughter is half her age, they can pick a human skin that makes them look young and attractive to the human "audience".

And the V's claim to have a treatment that can halt the aging process in humans, and as they present themselves to be similar to us they could use the same treatment on themselves, which means that Anna can have a much younger look than she should have. Don't think there is a V that looks to be over 50 in the whole show, so it makes sense for them to claim that they have solved the "problem" of aging.

Or maybe they have to wait until they are stronger in numbers, and/or have positioned themselves so they can sabotage any major wipe out.

Maybe she does not trust that he will be able to keep it to himself, or that he will think his mom is crazy and not believe her. Then he tells his girlfriend about how his crazy mom thinks she is a lizard, and the FBI mom is exposed to the V's as one of the few humans that knows the truth, and will instantly be targeted by them.

Also, why was Tyler just staring at the engine room "whoooaaaaa whoaaaa big colours!" like a total ******? You're 1-on-1 with her and she's super casual, I'd be snap-asking how it all works and what the fuel is etc. alike I assume most other non-brain-dead people.

The mom role is ******ed, so is the son's, but I still enjoy the show somewhat and will keep watching. Can Tyler actually sex the hot blonde? I'd assume the skin is just that, skin. No pussy underneath?

V's undercover as guys seem to be able to have sex, i assume there are women undercover as well so i bet he won't know the difference.

And have children. Which is weird.

Tyler is the Wesley Crusher of this show. Unless he undergoes some sort of huge transformation, I wish they would just kill him off.

Also, I wonder if the undercover lizards are repulsed by the human chicks or if they are like "**** yeah, look at what I get to nail".

Man I wish these new sci-fi shows would find some writers who can string together a few decent lines of dialogue. The genre's always suffered from this I guess (see Lucas thread in OOT), but it seems unnecessary. Lots of good ideas, decent actors and terrible scripts. Seeing Baccarin and Tudyk just makes me miss Firefly.
