Has anyone done a rewatch of the show so far to get up to speed for the new series? I watched Twin Peaks about 8-10 years ago and can't remember anything. I barely remember who Laura Palmer is.

I won't have time to finish a rewatch, but will aim for The Missing Pieces (never seen) and possibly still finishing up a rewatch while the new series has already started. Saw the movie again a couple of months ago.

Will also be seeing Rabbits and INLAND EMPIRE in the next few weeks, both back on the big screen (thrilled), and Lynch's early shorts and the new documentary and probably Mulholland (all also on the big screen).

I did a rewatch a few years ago with the so. Held up decently. Season 2 was worse than I remember even after fast-forwarding all of the terrible James stuff. End was of course great.

You HAVE to at lest watch the first season, the 2nd season through Leland's death, and the last 6 or 7 episodes. You can skip in between. No one give s a **** about Billy Zane and/or James.

I rewatched most of the original earlier this year. It does hold up but I found myself fast forwarding through all the stupid Donna/James/Nadine/Jose junk.

I, of course, would never fast forward through the Shelly stuff. I could watch Madchen Amick wash dishes for an hour.

Yea I'm thinking S1 is a must re-watch (only 7 episodes), then how much time I have remaining before the May 21 premiere will dictate how much of S2 I re-watch (at the very least it'll be the final 2 episodes)
