Just finished a rewatch of The Return. Man, it makes a lot more sense on the 2nd go...still enigmatic, of course, but holy cow, what an amazing 18 hours. I was a lot less frustrated with Dougie this go around, because I knew where it was going, and I knew Dougie was a construct of Evil Cooper.

The one thing I still have no clue about, is Freddie with the Green Hand, and how Cooper knows who he is and what he can do in the fight against Bob. It just seems to come out of even more of a left field than normal with Lynch.

Still, just amazing in every way.

Yeh, Freddie with the green hand was just really stupid and the superheroesqueness of that plotline felt out of place in the Twin Peaks universe. Everything else was pretty great though.
