Just finished watching Cheers and Modern Family earlier today, so i'm feeling a bit nostalgic, went and made a list of every sitcom/comedy show i've watched and going to rate them all out of 10, why don't you all do the same?

I'll rate them all later, just posting an alphabetised list right now - has anyone seen/not seen any of these?

Think i'll do them 5 at a time and do a wee note for each

American Dad: 8/10 - Would probably be halved to 4 if it wasn't for Roger, imo the best animated character out there. The rest is a bit meh tbh but still watchable.

Arrested Development: 8.5/10 - Great show, loads of laughs. Need I say more?

Bad Education: 6.5/10 - British comedy, haven't seen it in years but I did like it back when I watched it in my late teens iirc - was pretty funny at times.

Benidorm: 5.5/10 - Just recently watched this, another British comedy with a bit of drama mixed in, was alright and I enjoyed watching most of the time but probably wouldn't rewatch it.

Big Bang Theory: 7.5/10 - First few seasons were close to a 10 then just sort of declined in quality but still great overall and I have rewatched the whole series last year once the last season came out.

Big School: 5/10 - Another British comedy..was looking forward to this as it had David Walliams and Catherine Tate (which reminds me Catherine Tate show I missed out, will put it in under 'C') but it didn't really deliver as well as i'd hoped.. still watchable though!

Blackadder: 9.5/10 - Absolutely hilarious British comedy, what a show this is and Rowan Atkinson is brilliant as Blackadder.. just love everything about it but it isn't my favourite of all time so can't give it a 10 lol

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 8.5/10 - Just recently started watching this last year, it's still ongoing and i've loved it so far.. few bad episodes here and there but still really funny. Cool cool cool no doubt no doubt no doubt

Catherine Tate Show: 6.5/10 - British again, yeah I liked this, 'Nan' and 'Lauren' were my 2 favourite sketches and a few others made me laugh out loud too but a few bad ones as well, still watchable and i'll chuck it on at night if there's nothing else on.

Come Fly With Me: 7/10 - Another British one, not as good as it's predecessor Little Britain but still got a lot of laughs from it, some great characters and sketches.

Derek: 5/10 - Eh it was watchable, was funny at times and Ricky Gervais is a genius but not my favourite show of his, still decent though.

Everybody Loves Raymond: 7/10 - Used to watch this every morning before school as it was on at breakfast time in the UK (still is lol) so it has nostalgia and it is a pretty funny show in it's own way, have rewatched a few years ago but it's a bit mild compared to others.

Extras: 8/10 - Second favourite show from Ricky Gervais, can you figure out my favourite? Yeah this was great, shame British shows only have 12 or so episodes

Family Guy: 7.5/10 - Yeah obviously with a show that's been on for so long there's going to be a few bad episodes but the good outweighs the bad and it's always worth watching even if the newer series aren't as good.

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: 8.5/10 - Absolutely love this, rewatched it a few times and never ceases not to be brilliant. Geoffrey GOAT!

How I Met Your Mother: 8/10 - Really liked this and i'm probably one of the few that actually liked the finale.. Ted is a bit annoying though, will probably rewatch this again soon as it's been a while.

IT Crowd: 8.5/10 - Absolutely hilarious British comedy, proper belly laughs from watching this just a shame there was only 3 series of 6 episodes

Impractical Jokers: 6/10 - Can be absolutely rolling on the floor funny at times and cringeworthy as hell/utter **** the next but overall it's good. Joe is my favourite as he'll pretty much do anything lol

Kevin Can Wait: 4/10 - Probably the worst on the list but somehow I managed to watch all 2 seasons of it before it got cancelled.. eh I was thinking maybe it would get better once Leah Remini was put into the main cast for a King of Queens reunion of sorts but didn't work out.. wasn't a complete waste of time though

King of Queens: 7.5/10 - Pretty much deja vu from Everybody Loves Raymond, everything I said there applies to this, extra half a point just for Arthur though.

Little Britain: 8/10 - Absolutely loved this back in the day, still rewatch it every now and then. Does my head in that it couldn't be remade today because it would be 'too offensive' to some people but most of the sketches bar a couple were all brilliant.

Man Down: 7/10 - Huge fan of Greg Davies and he's great in this, shame about Rik Mayall passing away as he made this show great as well but overall still a quality funny show.

Man With a Plan: 2/10 - Nope just couldn't get into this at all, stopped after Season 1, had a few funny moments and I am a fan of Matt LeBlanc but this wasn't great. (Made me remember another good show - Episodes so will put a write-up for that next)

Miranda: 5/10 - Pretty decent British comedy, not usually my sort of thing tbh but I enjoyed it nevertheless.. probably wouldn't rewatch it though.

Modern Family - 9.5/10 Just finished watching the series finale today, I would definitely need to rewatch it from the beginning to remember everything but I can't really remember any bad episodes tbh, just a wonderful show overall with great characters and storylines.

Mr Bean: 8/10 - Man I love Mr Bean, how can someone make me laugh so much just from mannerisms etc and not speaking? Rowan Atkinson is a genius.

(Episodes - 6/10 - Yeah I liked this, 6 might be a bit harsh actually but sticking with it.. has some good characters and funny moments)

My Family: 7/10 - Really enjoyable British family comedy, maybe went on for too long but was great overall with a lot of funny moments.

New Girl: 5/10 - Only got through 5 seasons of this and I did enjoy it up til then so 5 might be harsh but i'd need to see the rest to really judge it (just recently noticed it's finally available on Netflix here so I can watch it now after my fire stick thing stopped working lol)

Not Going Out: 7.5/10 - I would put this 8.5 without the reboot as i'm not the biggest fan of it with the kids and everything but the first 6 series was really good, Lee Mack's (and Tim Vine's when he was there) humour is my type of humour.

Only Fools and Horses: 9.5/10 - One of the greatest British TV shows of all time without a doubt, absolute classic. Can't decide between Blackadder or this which one is my favourite so i'll give them both the same score.

Outnumbered: 6/10 - Nice British family comedy with it's good and bad moments, the kids can be a bit annoying but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

(can't believe I forgot Always Sunny in Philadelphia! )

Always Sunny in Philadelphia - 9.6/10 - Brilliant brilliant show, Seinfeld on crack basically. Just love everything about it with it's dark humour and characters/plot etc is just my sort of thing. I like it better than Blackadder/Only Fools but it's not my favourite show of all time so it's a 9.6 instead lol

Ffs I wondered what happened to Cheers/Frasier and Friends, they should've been put up already but I forgot to copy and paste them into the alphabetise thing so i've missed out a few LOL

Cheers: 9.6/10 - Just finished watching this today and I absolutely loved it, just all the characters and plots and everything can't say a bad word about it, on a par with Always Sunny.

Frasier: 9.8/10 - Another brilliant show, slightly better than Cheers imo but only just. Absolutely incredible, sure it kind of declined in the later seasons but they were still really good and overall I have to say I liked it slightly better than Cheers. (Still not my favourite of all time though!)

Friends: 9.5/10 - My god i've rewatched this about 4 or 5 times mainly in my teen/late teens and a couple of times since and yeah it's up there with the best sitcoms of all time, has a few iffy moments sure but overall just brilliant.

Peep Show: 7.5/10 - Think a lot of people would rate this higher but it wasn't one of my all time favourite British shows even though it was still awesome.

Rick and Morty: 8/10 - Great animated show, all 4 series so far have been awesome, can't wait for more!

Seinfeld: 9.9/10 - GOAT sitcom imo, how could a show about nothing be so good?! Just unbelievably good but no show is perfect so can't give it a 10/10 unfortunately but it's close enough! There aren't enough superlatives to describe how good this show is.

South Park: 9/10 - GOAT animated show, need I say more? Rick and Morty may equal or overtake it over time though.

Still Game: 9.6/10 - Probably the only person to have seen this as it's a Scottish comedy but you aren't proper Scottish if you haven't seen this (and rate it as highly as 9.5) it's just absolutely ****ing hilarious lol, it's favourite British TV show so have to mark it higher than Blackadder/Only Fools.

The Cleveland Show: 3.5/10 - Eh didn't really get into this, only watched it because of the Family Guy connection. It was okay I guess but wouldn't rewatch it.

The Good Place: 9.5/10 - Awesome show, was gutted when this year's series was the last as American shows usually go on for way longer but yeah just a brilliant show overall, great characters and storylines etc. Right up there for sure, top 10 no question.

The Inbetweeners: 9/10 - Not usually a fan of cringe comedy tbh but I absolutely love this, so many laugh out loud moments and the movies are great too.

The Middle: 7.5/10 - I really really liked this when I thought I wouldn't, glad I gave it a try. Very nice family comedy and I was sad when it ended last year.

The Office UK: 9.5/10 - Another one of my favourite British TV shows, Ricky Gervais is just awesome and David Brent is his best creation. Amazing.

The Office US: 8/10 - The one British show that the US managed to not **** up lol, British one was better but this was still great too, more episodes and series is always a good thing. (Tim + Dawn ---> Jim + Pam though)

Vicar of Dibley: 5/10 - Used to watch this a lot with my gran back in the day, was her favourite programme and I did like it, just wasn't really my cup of tea. Had it's moments though for sure.

Young Sheldon: 8.5/10 - Only 3 seasons old but this has the potential to be right up there at the very top if it keeps continuing the way it's going, I hope so!

(Ones i've missed out:

The Simpons: 7/10 - Waaaaay too many episodes of this but I still watch every new episode when it comes out and it's got the nostalgia factor, wish they would just end it already though lol.

Two and a Half Men: 8/10 - Would be 9/10 if it ended when Charlie left as I didn't really like the later series but was amazing with Charlie in it, really funny.

Errrr I know there are more i've missed out, anyone got any suggestions? Post your own lists and remarks if you like!

I'll play...only will rate the one's I've seen:

Quote:
American Dad 10/10
Big Bang Theory 0/10 - just awful, I never have understood the popularity
Brooklyn Nine-Nine 10/10
CHEERS 10/10 ldo
Everybody Loves Raymond 0/10 Nobody Loves Raymond!
Family Guy 7.5/10 sometimes too repetitive with some of the schtick but mostly laffs
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 8/10
Kevin Can Wait 0/10 Kevin James from great to WOAT comedic actor, but see my next rating...
King of Queens 10/10 always cracks me up. really liked Leah Remini in particular. And the NY-centered humor clicked with me on here, unlike Seinfeld for whatever reason....
Seinfeld - 5/10...it was ok...the "I'm Out" gif is gold and the OTB ep was awesome...but some of the other NY-centric stuff just never clicked with me.
Man With a Plan - never seen, but the commercials scream 0/10
South Park - 5/10. total hit or miss show. The Casa Bonita ep earns 4 pts. alone tho just cuz I've actually been to that restaurant.
The Cleveland Show - 8/10 - "Steve Trash" line too funny
Young Sheldon - 0/10 original show is unwatchable, how is there a spinoff?

This show doesn't get enough love. Was too short to ever get talked about as a goat, but I've never laughed out loud more watching any TV than this show. It was hilarious.

Since we've already widened what counts as a classic sitcom I'll throw The League in the mix.
One of my all-time favorite comedies.

Veep, Curb and Community would be the other ones but I think those are really outside the sitcom definition but great comedies nonetheless.

The Mick had it's moments for its short run.
