Agree and that was my takeaway. Both Ali and his son were like"wtf are you talking about". I thought it was sort of a comic relief spot in a way.

I meant her comment wouldn't make sense if she was more than just a random journalist making a report.

The guy who directed the first two episodes has made a couple very good/great movies and I really dig his style, looks like he only did the those two episodes so I hope the show doesn't take a dive going forward

The seasons are only 8 episodes. How hard is it to get one guy to direct the whole thing? The horrible rushed script for S2 was the biggest problem, but having a different director for every episode probably made things even worse. I thought they’d get away from that.

I had fairly high hopes for this season, and the first 2 eps delivered. Excited for the rest. Really hope that Clayton's prediction is WAY off the mark though. Its very good, but if it can be figured out after 2 episodes, this season may end up not being very good after all.

Go away, troll. One doesn't have to be a racist to have not watched House of Cards or the movies Ali was in.

HoC was the only reason I knew his name. He was great in that, too.

I didn't realize that Rachel Brosnahan "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" was also in HOC as
Rachel the hooker, until I saw her on Fallon last night.

Not a racist, but thought he was the football player, Ricky, from Boyz n the Hood for a bit.

Sure, but I genuinely thought it was the same person just 30 years older. I didn't watch House of Cards or his movies. I think he is a good actor except for the overly dramatic raspy voice.

Really good so far imo

Season 2 had a lot of things wrong with it, but I didn't think it was nearly as bad as you guys seem to think. A disappointment but nowhere close to the worst tv show ever. For example, I think it was way better than every drama that has ever aired on CBS.

No way imo on that theory Clayton

sort of a side theory

Spoiler:
No way they can resist connecting this to Season 1, somehow, right? Gotta be related, for better or worse.

Didn't they mentioned something about the dolls and another town?

The kids go missing in 1980 (the day Steve McQueen died) and Dora Lange's body is discovered in 1995.

It would be cool if they somehow connect the stories later though.

............WHAT? Go watch The Big Bang Theory or something.

New season seems pretty awesome, I'm gonna hate it until I can watch the entire thing in a marathon tho.

LOL some dumb mod said I was a racist for not knowing who dude was. Sorry I didn't recognize the guy from Predators and the tiny role from Benjamin Button. LOL stupids like you and the mod are diluting the importance of certain importain words so maybe learn to hush up. After this role tho I can see why he got an award... doesn't subtract from the fact that you and the mod are not to bright.

I first saw Ali in The 4400, a terrible USA sci-fi show. He wasn't that memorable, mostly because it was corny as hell:

Some people itt are not very good at detecting sarcasm even when it is done very clearly....well at least you can make up for your racist ways by admitting he is a good actor.
