top chef : just drinks

with mixologists/bartenders would be a good show. am i / we jsut drunk or is that legit?

meh, only so much you can do with booze. the "art" of liquor is in the production, not the serving. nothing impressive about crafting an oatmeal cookie shot or serving a rainforest within a pina colada.

Every time a show like TC, or Iron Chef tries to make things about drinks it's just too boring.

Also, unlike with cooking, the best drinks are far more simply and we don't need a show celebrating the creation of gayballs Martinis.

I remember hating her from the first episode of her season (I think I even posted about it on here). But I came around on her eventually that season, and now I genuinely like her a lot. She's the kind of person that would be a ton of fun to hang out with in small doses, IMO.

Too bad that Fabio's leaving, but I'm glad it wasn't Dale. I might be rooting for him 2nd hardest behind Blais. I'd kinda like to see Angelo go home now. He just continues to weird me out a little too much.

I believe that that burger was gross and all but Fabio going out before Tiffany? Srsly? That's the inherent flaw in this kind of competition. You can be bad to mediocre week in and week out and outlast someone who is near the top often but screws up once.

Dale should have gone home, his was inedible, vs. what may not have met the definition of a burger to the judges, but wasn't horrendous and which one diner even said he quite liked.
