I started the season expecting to be hate-watching Brandon. Then after a couple episodes I kinda forgot he exists. Now I like him and really want to see him go deep in LCK.

Remember that we only see what the producers want us to see. I thought it was interesting that at no point did we see Brandon tell the judges that he dumped a bunch of grape seed oil (was it?) In there. They cut all that out, but he must have mentioned it. On top of that, at dinner the other judges pointed out more flaws.

Now with that said, I am surprised sausage girl didn't go home also.

I had the same experience. Out of context, his first episode interactions felt condescending, but over time it became apparent that he was just being helpful and the other chefs respected him. Then he lost right when I was starting to like him, which I guess is the recurring theme of this season.

I got the same vibe. I pictured him as a villain after the first episode.

Then it turned around and more often than not he was on point when evaluating the other chefs dishes as well as his own.

I know braising a piece of tough beef is hard in the time given but surely you can make some great dishes with the pressure cooker in time and create some deep flavor.
They really were all over the place in that challenge.

Hopefully she didn't take the look too far and choke Tom out.

I do think the White team went overboard with getting the crowd to chant 'Homemade'. I actually felt bad for Sara. She was getting booed in her 'home' arena FFS. She messed up and she knew it. She didn't need to have her face rubbed in it.

Pretty sure that Tom already knew about the boxed waffle mix when he asked Adrienne if she was making her waffles from scratch.
