Haven't seen this one mentioned yet. It's a third season episode involving the Super Bowl and may not be top ten list-worthy but it's pretty solid. My father had come out to stay with me in the mid-90s and I was a huge Simpsons fan, I showed him this ep and he was hooked. Prior to that he couldn't fathom that adults would watch the show because he hadn't tried it.

The other sequence that always gets me that I haven't seen mentioned is in the Last Exit to Springfield ep where homer is looking to sell out for beer but Lisa needs braces and they'll lose the dental plan if she caves. It shows a couple of thought clouds with Carl (I think) repeatedly saying DENTAL PLAN in one with Marge saying LISA NEEDS BRACES over and over again in the other and he's having trouble putting the pieces together.

The already mentioned Hutz quote where he runs over the judge's dog is fantastic too.

Burns flashes back to simpler days. Springfield, 1909, back when people smashed atoms by hand. Grandfather Burns catches one of his employees trying to steal some atoms and has him taken away.
