I did not see a post for Tin Star when searching for OOT.

I wanted to see if anyone else watched Tin Star on Amazon Prime. I found the first half of the season to be amazing. Loved the main character. The plot development was a bit slow in the beginning but very enjoyable. Then it seemed like around episode 9-10 they inevitably sped up the storyline to wrap it up in ten episodes.

I was a little disappointed with the finale but overall I would say the series is worth a watch.

I found it mostly ridiculous but entertaining but I wouldn't recommend it.

The villain guy couldn't be any more villain looking without an eye patch but, to me, his French Canadian accent was ridiculous and undercut any menace he had.

I thought the first half was generally disappointing because Tim Roth works well when he's authoritative but not an authority because he plays the jerk really well. When he's an authority like the Sheriff of that small town all I could think of was, "why don't they can this obvious *******?". He does a lot better in the second half when he's removed from being Sheriff a bit.

I just finished episode #2 of Tin Star. This and Goliath are the only two Prime-produced shows I've watched.

What is up with these cartoon-ish villains?

I'm sort of angrily enjoying it. It's just not very good, but then again I said that about Goliath at first ... but I really liked Billy Bob Thorton's character but Tim Roth's isn't doing it.

Also, what's up with Amazon sending its main characters to AA and then the liquor store? Someone's got it out for that organization.

Just finished this ...

These shows are the new B-movie noir. What can I criticize? The writing was absurd and yet I was entertained ...
