Everyone else worse than 1 in 20 odds, with Nick and Tyson greater than 1 in 20 is an interesting take.

yes. no way there's one single player out there who refuses to snap buy an immunity idol for 1 token.

Ive seen this point made twice now and I think its wrong. The only one who saq the fire token menu so far is Natalie, right? I dont think we saw Sandra seeing the menu

Pretty sure they had a menu when they first showed up to the camps. It was right by the Tribe Sign. Maybe not a full menu, but a menu.

Michelle is my early pick to win. I was incredibly impressed with her on her season, even though some seemed to think she wasn't a deserving winner. IMO she has many of the qualities that make a great player. She's liked by everyone, friendly and extroverted but not obnoxious, not an albatross in the challenges but not so good as to be a target, physically attractive in a girl next door kind of way.

I'm rooting for Rob because I think he's the goat Survivor player and the most entertaining they've ever had. However he is clearly a target and it will take a miracle.

This is the argument they make about Forensic Files. The narrator passed away and now they say you can't make new seasons without some old white guy narrating it. Are you telling me that Tracy Morgan can't narrate an episode of Forensic Files? Come on now!

Thank you for saying what needed to be said and I agree. I'd love to see Cirie host Survivor. Vecepia and Earl would both be worthy choices. Maybe Abi-Maria or Nate. There are so many great possibilities that it's pointless to name everyone that is suitable to take that job.

They did for sure, I remember one of them reading it.

Things like rice, beans, but also challenge advantages for two tokens is what the person said. Nothing about an immunity idol.

And can we get rid of this stupid SJW argument about Probst? I bet you were happy James Bond finally got replaced by a black female too.

You took the trolling way too far here

Really excited about this season; hopefully the changes make eoi more dynamic than the first iteration.

Why would Rob have lied to Sandra about not playing S40? Seems like all downside and no possible upside.

Cochran and JT would have been much better than a couple of the most recent guys though.

Might just be the luck of the edit, but all except the initial Free Agent Alliance strategy sessions were the 3 guys without Sophie. A little worried she's outside the core alliance there.

Fire tokens are exhausting and seem to exist solely to give the Extinction people a reason to be on camera.

I'm so clueless as to where Sophie stands. I don't remember her on screen aside from the challenges or that scene with Yul.

lol at Probst being integral to the success of Survivor....it's about the game, not Probst.....he's genial enough, but if they got Joe Rogan or Ryan Secrest to do it, so what? The game is the game.

I think running tribal council has a higher degree of difficulty than anything any other reality show host is asked to do, but that's also a low bar.

I wonder about that too. Maybe he just changed his mind? Maybe Amber decided to play and given the option of staying home with 4 freaking kids or being stranded on an island with people wanting to cut your throat he chose the easier option?

I would pay to get to see the entire unedited version of tribal councils, similar to the BB PPV. That would be awesome.

Really? Julie Chen has to do her work live every single week whereas Probst takes part in a highly edited prerecorded segment where they select a few minutes of footage from a tribal council that lasts 45+ minutes.

According to Richard Hatch, he and Tina were bags-packed and ready to fly out before being cut from the cast a few days before departure. (Supposedly cutting Hatch because of Dan’s actions on 39)

So it’s possible Rob was telling the truth to Sandra and then became an expensive last-minute replacement

I thought Hatch was an automatic no only because of his legal troubles.

And frankly I'm glad Tina isn't part of the cast. Only woman I would remove to replace her would be Amber.

I feel if the Rob thing wasn't a lie and they last minute subbed him in, they probably wouldn't edit in those Sandra scenes.

39 days on island of the idols is a long time to cook up a strategy for the following season. Would be an amazing set up for a secret alliance. (Got this theory on reddit)

Julie reads from cue cards and repeats the same lines over and over. Probst has to adapt on the fly without an ear piece at Tribal.

About the easy decision for Sandra to take the idol and how everybody would. I believe this is mostly true but the fact that there are only food and other not so good rewards on the menu isn’t a great argument.

Obviously the person getting offered this immunity idol for 3 TC’s now knows that there will be bigger, better rewards to buy with the fire token other than what’s on the menu.
