TONY/sarah with some great tv, dramatic challenge, huge bonehead play by adam, PARV stays while rob is emasculated on national tv

WOW. SURVIVOR IS BIG TIME BACK

Thoughts while watching:

- obviously we didn't see the whole convo between Adam and Ethan, but if I'm Adam, I would try to make the case to Ethan that I like Rob and Parv a lot, but they are huge threats and it's not wise move to go to the end with them. I think Ethan is rational enough to recognize the sense in that, and there's no personal attack towards Rob/Parv in making that point. As played (on what we saw) it was not a great job by Adam. Especially since he has the numbers to get rid of Parv that he doesn't need to include Ethan in that. I totally get that he wanted to keep Ethan in the loop so that he'll trust him going forward but unless you're going to really make a good case, it's stupid to have this convo this early.

At least wait til after they lose so that it doesn't look like you're gunning for Parv (which obviously you are). I like Adam but he definitely has always come across like he gets a little carried away with his own sneakiness, and it's led him to make some FPS moves imo.

- Amber can't remember three 2 digit numbers?

- would Natalie be able to keep the steal a vote advantage for herself that she could use if she got back I the game? Is that a really stupid move? It's late and I'm not thinking straight.

- if you're Sarah, do you go for it? It doesn't seem worth it. Costs the fire token, and too much has to go right to not get caught. Idunno, the thrill of the challenge might make me go for it.

- I wonder what would have happened if during the time that production placed the advantage in the torch and Sarah showed up, someone on Sele found it accidentally when they were maybe idol hunting or something. Would they get to keep it and would Natalie get her fire token refunded?

- can't believe it took them that long to switch out for the cowboy to swing the rope. Geez.

- holy crap that was an exciting challenge finish

- Adam going to Rob about Parv is straight up ****ing hubris. Jfc did he NOT just see what happened with Danni? So dumb.

- going into tribal, I think the move for the "new" players minus Adam is to vote out Adam tonight, then take out Rob next time by having Jeremy amd Michelle pitching to Rob to take out Ben.

- this season is shaping up great. They're voting all the passive players out right away. It's gonna set up for some epic clashes going forward. I would've rather seen Adam go and see him get his comeuppance for such boneheadedness but this is a good outcome too. It makes sense for them to keep Adam since he's their ally, but man you really can't trust him. I hope Denise smacks the **** out of him and tells him that if he wants anyone to work with him he needs to learn to shut his ****ing mouth.

It seems like we’re actually not swapping the tribes for a longer while than usual.
It makes sense with the double idols. It would be dumb if these idols get found and then the two players are broken up one episode later

Huh? They were at 17 this episode. Isn't the reshuffle usually at around 16?

I didn't like Adam on his season, and I like him even less this season. Him getting carried away with his own sneakiness is a result of him thinking he's more intelligent than he actually is.

Having to actually keep notes as I watch Survivor for the first time ever to keep track of who has what.

So far I've got:

Tyson, Yul, Tony, Wendell, Nick, Ben, Adam, Michele - 1 fire token
Sandra - 0 fire tokens (immunity idol has expired I think?)
Sarah - 0 fire tokens, steal a vote advantage
Sophie, Kim - 1 fire token, 1/2 HII
Denise - 2 fire tokens, HII
Rob, Parvati - 2 fire tokens
Jeremy - 1 fire token, leave TC early advantage

Parvati is so goddamned sexy. She's pretty, but it's not just looks.....some women just emanate sex appeal, and she's one.

My interpretation was that it was good for the next 3 tribals in the game, regardless of whether she goes to them or not.

Well then, as I stated at the start, what a waste of a fire token.

Natalie impressed me too. Not only thinking about the shells, but then destroying the chance for anyone else to figure it out. Then, making sure the advantage is bought by sending it to someone who's not only had that advantage before, but used it successfully.

She really is a thinking player. I am rooting for her to win this point.

I'm not rooting for anyone who gets voted out to win. I agree with whoever said that EoE takes away the power and finality of Tribal Council.

Rooting for an EoE'r to win is blasphemy. Survivor jumps the shark if that happens on the Winners at War season. Would be most lolz if the first person voted out of the season actually won it.

I agree if it plays out like in s38. But if the returnee comes back no later than at the merge it wouldn't bother me.
