Season is awesome so far. If it finishes strong could be top 5.

I didn't feel Wendell got a winner's edit last episode. His "why have a dictatorship when we can have a democracy" presentation to Jebastian and Libby didn't seem persuasive or indicative of a strong friendship. His tribal vote/lecture to Chris was overbearing for my taste. Maybe they had to include those segments and he's the winner anyway, but it made me think he's a slightly better player on paper than in reality.

Still trying to figure out how Chris doesn't play the idol there, where it was no scecret he's a target... just to keep it for one more tribal. He could have ended up winning the IC next week, and be stuck with a worthless idol (I suppose he still could have given it away).

I thought Wendell's stop rapping speech was hilarious. His mannerisms and the way he talks reminds me a little bit of Donald Glover's character from Atlanta. He's currently who I am rooting for to win, although Libby and her amazing ass is a close 2nd.

I was praying that Chris would play the game to extend the life of his idol so that he could then take it home with him. Fist pumped. At the time, I was also contemplating the difficulty of losing your vote in this spot in the event you were actually in an alliance with some people and had to make the best collaborative decision moving forward. Like, how do you go back to your group and explain to them that you don't have your vote. Or what are the ramifications of NOT telling them you lost your vote. Like if the voting prospects were going to be dicey or something. Of course, none of this really applied to Chris because he only thought he was in charge of other people. Which leads me to the beauty of him taking 11 of the 13 players to the well to inform them of how they would be voting. He's so incredibly swa-vey, he doesn't need to use his idol or worry about his loss of vote.

Cut to Donathan immediately cluing Dom in on what was said at the well. And cut to a group of the women talking about just going off and doing their own thing while Dom and Chris were firing at each other. This is fun Survivor.

I just watched this episode. I have to say I hate how they do the playing of an idol in Survivor. It should be a blind process where you don't know what everyone else is doing.

This is a great call. It seemed like the Survivor producers were trying to incentivize him to correctly play it this week - but, Chris, thinks being aggressive and not playing scared is right no matter the situation.

This is the perfect level of terrible that it is entertaining.

I have to say I am shocked he had the intellectual bandwidth to come up with the line, "Survivor on my mind, that's why I Ponderosa."

I was wondering who he reminded me of and you are 100% right.

Feels like Wendell and Kellyn are running things more comfortably than the edit is letting on

pretty ballsy for wendell to not use his idol after michael used his, knowing michael was targeting him. but i guess not really since he was counting on donathan and laurel

shame on malolo for not sticking together imo. they coulda made it 6-5 which is pretty close. i guess i can understand laurel and donathan, but i have no earthly idea what jenna is thinking. how wendell only gets one vote there is pretty absurd. michael could have at least warned libby not to vote for him because of the idol, to make sure her vote would be on wendell. not much downside in telling her since he knows hes getting voted and is planning on using it anyways. and with a split, even if malolo stuck together it couldve easily been 4-4-3 before libby's vote, so her vote woulda been important. its a shame michael and libby were both so out of the loop, even with each other.

idk what to make of this dom/wendell/laurel donathan alliance, and why they seem so confident in it despite only having 4 people. theres still 11 left. i guess they figure they can take out michael and jenna, then their 2 idols will be enough to compensate for the 5-4 disadvantage.

the lack of resistance has been kinda annoying this season. i guess now we have the 4 naviti women against the above 4 person alliance and only one can prevail. meh. i was so much more excited with the prospect of the malolo 5 voting out wendell that now it seems disappointing

also angela got such a heroic edit tonight with such a dumb move. i dont even get what she thinks she accomplished. she thinks she got everyone to swing and target michael. when him and libby were the obv next 2 to go anyways. bleh

kind of dumb for michael to choose angela to confide his plan in also. shouldn't he have realized she's not on his side? she already had the chance to go with him and james and chose not to. there's no reason she would suddenly flip now, in a worse spot than it wouldve been to flip before. i guess michael prob legit just has no one else to talk to. even so, if he realized that kellyn/des were calling the shots on their previous tribe, then you should obviously go talk to them directly.

i dont really think anything wouldve worked for him though, besides just getting malolo to stick together. kellyn still sounds so confident every time she talks even though her entire strategy is just vote orange

Angela's edit this episode seemed really weird, i'm hoping this is not true, but it seems like it might be the start of a goat finalist where they need to give her camera time and "moves" that make her seem like a potential winner for the idiots not paying attention.

Is there any chance that Michael going back to finish the food after he lost to Angela was for fuel? Possibly he thought Jeff would not allow it, so he smartly used the "chance of a lifetime" angle that we all know gets Probst hard. It seems like even the little extra protein would be worth it in those living conditions.
In regards to why would Michael confide in Angela- I'm guessing thats just edit related. He probably had a similar pitch to almost everyone. I believe Wendell even said something like- "Michael is running around bringing up my name to everyone"
I'm very bothered by Angela. Her serial killer confessional about taking people out in battle came off very wierd. Also, Angela is to dancing as Chris is to rapping. Stop dancing. You're trash...at dancing. You're garbage at dancing. You can't dance. You have no rhythm.
