with a 20 person season I expected there'd be at least 1 tribe swap or something because even though we're already at 14, the merge still seems like a world away. Season has been good thus far but I'm kinda ready to just get through the tribal period and get down to serious business

He's going to the final five, book it.
also really huge that he has an immunity idol and is actually a smart player, makes me think he'll know when/how to utilize it for maximum effect

we don't know - but probably 6-8? are 'shown' looking concerned

i don't know all of their names - but someone who does could narrow down the 'possible' injured - or whatever

I officially give up on Jaison. He seems clueless in terms of strategy. I think he'd be a cool guy outside of the game, but he appears to suck at Survivor.

Natalie's body is ridiculous. I'd take her over Ashley for sure.

Duh. He's a beast, and he's the only one who seems to have any clue what he's doing. I think there are only two ways for him to get screwed: Jaison and Mick flipping on him pre-merge (unlikely), or Jaison/Mick winning immunity when they're down, for example, 6-2 after the merge.

Spoiler:
I don't have DVR, and it went really fast, but I definitely saw Kelly and Liz, so it's not them. I'm not 100% sure on these, but I think I remember seeing Jaison, Erik, Monica, Laura, and Natalie. Someone with DVR should go back and look because they had to have shown 9-10 faces.

EDIT: Again, I'm going off four seconds of memory, but I'm almost positive I did not see White Russell or Brett.

w/e F spoiler tags i'm lazy

of the faces they showed reacting (i.e. the ones NOT hurt), they did not show either russell or mick. there are a few others but this is going to be big i bet, it's got to be one of them.

can we also take a moment to appreciate how great russell is at deflecting aggression? he did this with betsy, although she wasn't as aggressive, and he's now done it with liz (oh yeah and marisa) -- they come at him, and he instantly pulls the trust card, and acts like a total victim, and it works flawlessly. i anticipated some russell vs. liz showdown at tribal and it already seems like it's evaporated. liz didn't roll her eyes when russell answered that he trusts everyone.

either way, i tihnk it was a mistake to vote out ashley. liz is exactly the kind of when-it-comes-to-doing-she-will-do-it player. i guess what i maen by that is i just get this vibe that liz will continue to hang in the background and sneak her way to the final four.

I'd be shocked if it's White Russell. The way they've hyped him up all season, it would be very surprising to see him gone by the sixth episode.

Why wife and I were watching and noticed Brett. We both said "WTF..where did he come from."? Some people have gotten so little air time it looks like they just walked out of the woods and joined the game. We just laughed cause we watched every episode but couldn't remember him.....I guess we need to pay attention more.

Was ready to post "you come at the king, you best not miss" if Russell had had a chance to strategize and defeat Liz.

i think people who are excluding certain players because their faces were shown missed reality tv show editing 101

yeah

they've even edited the votes on some of these episodes, so the reactions mean nada

Wow. WRussell is interesting to watch, but I really can't believe so many think he's playing a good strategic game. He's a blustery ego-driven troll.

If the roles were reversed--if Liz were the one with the II and he confronted her about it (which, granted, was really dumb)--and she overreacted the way he did, how many would be saying how dumb she was for going bananas, and extolling the brilliance of WRussell for stirring the pot and causing the hero of the challenge to lose her composure? In his strategic brilliance he keeps targeting--as diabolical threats to his preeminence--all the weak I'll-do-whatever-I'm-told girls. Very impressive.

more information on who could possibly be injured would be nice. anywhere the 'scenes from the next episode' can be seen online?

i thought liz was a goner. she fared well in the rope holding though. ashley was embarrassing in the Samoa slushie contest. i kind of just wanted jaison to quit so they didn't have to vote anyone off. he's starting to piss me off.

I rewatched it in slow motion, and I think these reaction shots would be extremely hard to fake (and most of them are clearly from the challenge). I'm going to put this in spoilers, but it's only from stuff in the previews. I'm not saying this guarantees that anyone is or isn't the injured player, but curiosity got the best of me:

Spoiler:
The first shot is of Dave and Monica, who appear to be on the sidelines...

Next is Liz, who is clearly in the challenge. I'd be shocked if it's her.

Next is a great shot that proves the previous frame of Dave and Monica is legit. You can see Jon in the front with his blindfold on, and in the back, Kelly has her hands over her mouth. Dave and Monica are also in it, and it's obvious that it's the same shot we saw before Liz, only from a different angle. It's none of these four.

Next is Erik. He's holding something from the challenge, but he's not blindfolded. I'd be shocked if it's him.

Next is the shot of Probst telling them to stop. You can clearly see Jaison and Mick blindfolded in the background, so it's not them.

Next is Natalie, who appears to be at the challenge. This could be pre-injury for all we know, but you can see a red sleeve in the shot, which is probably Mick, meaning it's probably not her.

After that is the stuff with the medics. You can see a purple bandana guy with shaved brown hair, then another blindfolded purple dude with a brown beard when the angle shifts. It's probably the same guy in both shots, and I don't think it could be anyone but Erik.

If we assume all these people are safe, that leaves Brett, Laura, both Russells, and Shambo as the only five possibilities. It's pretty hard to get hurt at a blindfold challenge, so I guess my money is on Shambo having some sort of unrelated health issue.

EDIT: Also, in the Jaison/Mick shot where Probst is yelling for everyone to freeze, he appears to be looking in the opposite direction of Foa Foa. I'm not saying that makes it a lock that it's not White Russell, but 4 of the 5 unseen players are Galus, and Dave/Monica/Kelly appear to be looking straight ahead in their reaction shot, so I doubt White Russell is the injured player.

I'm worried about White Russel. He's clearly the smartest player in the game this season, but after the merge he'll be a prime target immediately, simply because he looks like a very physical guy and people always try to vote them off. This extreme numbers imbalance could really kill his game plan.

Could be some pretty serious spoilage in here. Meh, could also just be BS. Who knows? But seriously... this guy hasn't been wrong yet, so don't click it if you don't want to know.

Spoiler:
Looks like Russell S. gets med-evac for severe dehydration next week and the challenge is left uncompleted. Jaison goes next.

Spoiler:

Merge 8-4 Galu

Galu blindsides Erik because they know he found the idol 7-4
Galu goes after Russell H but he playes the HII 6-4
Shamboo flipps to FoaFoa 5-5

FoaFoa gains control

F-3 is [[Russell, Mick, Natalie Galu manges to blow a 8-4 merge advantage]]

Shamboo & Russell bond, are asked to do TAR, Shamboo says no, shoulder she hurt in episode 2 still hurts.

Well, if that's how it plays out, it's going to be epic!

I could be wrong, but I don't think he'll be a huge target. He might be the guy they choose to lift heavy stuff, but Mick and Jaison are obviously more athletic and are bigger threats in challenges. Most of the individual games are geared more towards runners and swimmers (as opposed to bench pressers), and White Russell doesn't seem overly athletic.

I'm still not convinced this is going to be a tribal beatdown. You can say it's because they've lost a lot, but Foa Foa is clearly getting about ten times as much TV time as Galu, and they've focused way too much on the Shambo/Foa Foa relationship for it to be meaningless (which makes me think Shambo isn't the one that gets hurt next week). Haven't they done this same thing before, where the young majority alliance gets way too cocky and ends up reverse-Pagonging themselves? There's been this pattern in recent years where the young alpha-male leader of the majority gets whacked by his own team immediately (Brendan AND Tyson, Marcus, Ozzy, etc.), because the team feels they have an overwhelming majority. Then, someone flips, and they all get screwed. It's set up pretty perfectly to happen again, especially with Erik holding the II and Shambo on the outs. Erik is sort of an outsider to the 90210 alliance, and if they go into the merge up +4 (7-3), you know they'll end up targeting him too early and screwing themselves over when Shambo jumps. It happens every year, yet no one ever sees it coming. And as long as White Russell has Mick and/or Jaison with him, he'll never be the main target, so he's not at risk to get squeezed before all the flipping happens.

soda: I just clicked the first spoiler, which really isn't surprising to me at all and makes a ton of sense. I'm really, really tempted to click the inner box as well, but it's huge...how much spoiler-y stuff is in there? If it's a confirmed spoiler, I don't want to read it. If it's purely your own speculation based on the injury spoiler, let me know so I can check it out.

I think it's accurate. It came from a spoiler guy who's been getting info from several sources. This particular info came from a friend of his who correctly predicted every eviction thus far. Also, it seems to fit pretty well with the season 20 spoilers.

But, it is a spoiler, so always a chance it's just plain wrong.

Almost positive that the first part is true - that info is everywhere right now.
